Bretonian Broadcasting Corporation 24 Hour News. - Stoat - 07-07-2009

Good morning.

This is Helen Traft reporting for the BBC from outside the Royal Auxilliary Hospital on Planet Leeds. It is believed that Guildmaster Stoat, of the Bounty Hunter's Guild, is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries sustained during a firefight with a pirate group. Details are as yet unclear, but it seems the guildmaster was recovered by one of the officers of the Bretonian Armed Forces.

Rumours continue to circulate that the recently returned Buccaneers may have been involved, along with a number of Liberty Rogue pilots, and also members of a renegade group calling themselves Queen Carina's Privateers.

A vessel of our own, dispatched to the location of the firefight, has found evidence of up to eight ships of varying design, including ships of Outcast and, possibly, Molly origin.

Earlier today a high level representative of the Bounty Hunter's Guild was seen entering the facility.

The hospital have released the following statement to the press.

"Following a request from the Armed Forces, a number of our medical staff were dispatched to the spaceport here on Leeds. A high level member of a well respected organisation was immediately brought here. While the patient is currently in critical condition, we are confident that our highly skilled medical staff will be able to successfully treat the patient."

The Armed Forces and the Bounty Hunters Guild have so far refused to comment. This channel shall remain open should we receive any information from them regarding the incident.

It was rumoured that, unable to visit due to being 'wanted', a certain privateer had a card delivered, with a note saying,

"Get well soon. A million credits shall see that my best contractor receives the best of treatment, I presume."

Thomas Anderson staggered out from the back rooms of Buccaneer's Bay, and glanced up towards the TV with barely open eyes.

"Oi, Lads, Lass's! We're in the news!" He said pointing towards the TV before. "Bah! The bloody lass has it all wrong." He groaned waving his hand.

Bretonian Broadcasting Corporation 24 Hour News. - Stoat - 07-08-2009

Good morning.

This is Helen Traft reporting for the BBC from outside the Royal Auxilliary Hospital on Planet Leeds. We can confirm that Guildmaster Stoat is indeed receiving treatment for serious injuries sustained in a battle with pirate forces on Monday. The hospital director confirmed that the guildmaster has received first degree plasma burns to his legs and torso, a multiple fracture to his right arm and clavicle, severe shrapnel injuries to the chest, and a fractured skull. Despite the extent of the injuries, they are confident that the guildmaster will make a full recovery.

The following guncam footage, allegedly recovered from the black-box recordings of the guildmasters ship, was delivered to our offices this morning.

The data recovered shows that it was the pirate vessel flown by one Danny Walker that crippled the guildmasters' ship. It seems probable that this was the cause of his injuries.

The authenticity of the footage has been verified by our own technical department. However, upon approaching the Bounty Hunters Guild and the Bretonian Armed Forces, they once again refused to comment.

Esther Carson switched off the news and said two words.

"Oh bugger."

She then put out a help-wanted ad for a third secretary.
