A simple mod - Camtheman Of Freelancer4Ever - 07-09-2009 Basically, I want to put a discovery ship into regular vanilla, and make it cost nothing. I used to know how to do this and did it a lot a while back, but I need some refreshing... any ideas? A simple mod - Discovery UK - 07-13-2009 I think you should at least get the permission from the person who made the ship first. . . A simple mod - Camtheman Of Freelancer4Ever - 08-23-2009 Nobody knows? Sheesh... A simple mod - Agran Harper - 08-24-2009 I guess they would help if you have green light on the permission to go transfer it. You need to get the bini decompressor (or a similiar program) and decompress a few files that are necessary to implement the ship, then copy paste the info from there and copy paste the models as well. I'm not on the gung-ho side to get flamed because I support pirate modding without getting permissions in the first place. A simple mod - Seth Karlo - 08-25-2009 I know, but as the others said, get permission first. Which ship? Once you have permission, I'll give you a step by step. -Seth A simple mod - Mickk - 08-25-2009 Maybe he just wants to play the Vanilla storyline on his own PC using one of the ships from Disco to see how it goes. I have played the normal story line with the gundam missile mod, which I also figured out how to fiddle with so that the area effect was laser like and dmg was vast.... Very often most of the incoming enemies were dead before the storyline had time to activate. Thank goodness for the people who planned it out in the first place. It seems if all of the enemies are dead, it just 'fast forwards' thru the triggers for the story in that section and moves on  |
