If I have no IFF and a freelancer id, can I traverse border worlds in relative safety or am I still at a high risk?
If I am a freelancer id and have no tag/affiliation, then can I fly any non-navy (eg. avenger, chimaera) ship right? Or do I have to stick with the borderworld + civilian lines?

Risk-wise, it depends on all sorts of things. A Freelancer can be mighty suspicious. It would depend on the other person and how you RP it out I'd say.

Get the freelancer IFF
The military or pirate ships are strongly discoureged as I know. Well but with solid rp everythings possible.
The same goes for the pirate faction ship lines. I think.

The easiest way is to pay them a bribe, like most groups. Otherwise, they're tied with Zoners rep-wise.
