I was running a convoy of a few traders from new york to gamma.
I jumped first from minor to delta
When my friend BlackSun420
And my escort Goldenace jumped It said they both committed suicide.
I was left alone to be raped by nomad assassins 20 seconds later.
Possibility they both speed docked at the same time ?
No clue. But the committed suicide some how.

Some jumpholes are bugged, so if you jump in formation it seems you get destroyed. Happened to me once, lost some codies.. anyhow, just to prevent it, always jump single file.

There's definitely a situation that can occur like that from Beta->Sigma-19, too. One thing I've been told that seems to make sense is that if you're in formation and there's a spike of lag, it treats you as in a different spot, much like F1ing while jumping apparently does. This leads to you being in the sun, which leads to going boom.
If that is the case, I know there's been some times when I've jumped in formation and on the other side the person initially appears to be something like 20k away before it changing to 500ish. Is that the same sort of thing perhaps?

ya, so i die, for no reason only to see this big blue mass in front of me? or in front of the camera screen.
As much as i don't like going through those systems as a merc I do what i am paid to do, just find it annoying,

I thought I had learned my lesson at the delta jumphole from minor the first time I blew up... I was in formation, yes when that happened. :cool:
Now few days later I was jumping alone, no one else even near me or in group, and I still blew up after jumping. :mellow:
So iunno what is up with that, unless the mod devs coded inn some 'instability' for the jumpholes.
Or a bug.

It is a JH bug related to Formation Jumping. If you jump in formation, usually one or more of the ships IN FORMATION with the jumping ship explodes.
We Order people are so much used to it, its a part of our daily rp to warn "Break formation for stable jumping":)
