Ok now I'mm sure many of you know the CoZ (Council of Zoners) which pretty much acts as a governing authority for most if not all zoners.
Theres also other governing authorities such as the Elders of the Corsairs and the Council of Don's for the Oucasts.
I think Bretonia also has a governing authority (although it appears their parliament has almost no power).
I decided we should lead the way with a congress for Libertonians, which is why I am sending this message. All of you are leaders of the lawful factions in Liberty, and thus represent most of Liberty in itself. Here's my Idea.
We all know Liberty is based off the U.S., and the U.S. has a Congress consisting of the Senate which represents the peoples views.
Basically, there's gonna be a thread called Capitol Hill, Planet Manhattan, where all these Senator's (who represent one of the liberty faction's such as LPI or Agiera...).
In this thread, just like the CoZ, we will discuss and debate, and eventually vote on matter's affecting Liberty and possibly new Laws as well.
The matters we discuss here will only be minor matters, not major issue's, we won't be discussing a peace treaty with Rheinland, BUT we might discuss a temporary ceasefire for 3 days as well as lifting the embargo in order to regroup or so. Situation's like these would probably lead to some good debate, since most of the corporation's would support a temporary ceasefire so that they can reap the profits of the lifting of the embargo. On the other hand, the Liberty Navy might refuse a ceasefire since they have the upper hand and giving the Rheinlander's a ceasefire might be all they need to regroup and/or counter attack.
Basically, the whole purpose of this would be for some serious RP. Any Libertonian can participate in the debate.
I'd also recommend Dusty to be the 'Speaker of the House', which basically means he's the chair, and get's to decide when the debating ends and the voting begins. Voting will definitely go on for at least 3 days so that every libertonian in the forums gets a chance to vote. Also, Dusty isn't a member of any lawful faction in liberty, which basically means he won't be biased.
I'mm basically sending this to you guys since your the leaders of these faction's and you guys getting involved on something like this would probably attract some attention and we could see other Libertonians participating in the debate.
