I personaly think that it would be really sweet if you could choose what system u start in, or at least what house it would also change your starting rep (say u start in Kusari, u'll be hostel with Bretonia) to give more char/backstory custimization.

It's a faster way to set a character up than drag it all the way to whatever sector of space your heading for.

Did Igiss say why? Is it a code thing? Of course, his word is law, it would be just nice to have the option.

His word isn't law, so stop treating it like it is. He isn't a God, but he does deserve vast amounts of credit and appreciation for the community he provides.
