Regular Inactive Player Wipes - Igiss - 02-11-2007
Regular Inactive Player Wipes
Our player database right now is larger than ever (almost 3000 characters). To clear the player files from inactive players and players who left the server for good, two types of regular wipes will be performed.
1. Weekly wipes of characters that were online for less than 10 minutes
Please ensure that your character has stayed in space for 11 minutes or more.
If you think that your character was deleted by mistake (for example, you were online for half an hour, but character was gone), you may contact me and request refund.
2. Monthly wipes of characters that did not appear online for 40 days or more
Ensure that your old characters that you still need log in to server at least once in a month. This will help you to avoid this wipe.
Note that it's not important for how long will you log in. For example, if the character was online for 2 minutes 47 days ago, it will not be wiped. If the character was online for 12 hours 61 days ago, it will be deleted.
We cannot exclude selected characters so that they will not be wiped. The wipes apply to everyone, even including the administrators.
3. Special wipes
Wipes that server administrators pre-announce (for example, full wipes if necessary for new mod version, or 1-month wipe if our player database will be growing too quickly).
Such wipes will be announced 2-4 weeks before the wipe on this forum.

Inactive and uninterested players wipe done.
Date: 2007-03-04.
Result: 1020 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 60 days, or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes.
Next wipe: 2007-04-04
Regular Inactive Player Wipes - Korrd - 03-28-2007
Attention!
The next regular inactive/uninterested player wipe will happen on April the 4th.
Don't forget to log in those chars that you have not used in the last 60 days in order to avoid them to be deleted. Logging in for 1 minute or so with said character should be enough to avoid deletion.

Inactive and uninterested players wipe done.
Date: 2007-04-07.
Result: ~900 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 60 days, or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes.

Regular Inactive Player Wipes - Korrd - 05-18-2007
Inactive and uninterested players wipe done.
Date: 2007-05-18.
Result: ~300 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 60 days, or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes.
Next Wipe: 2007-07-08
Regular Inactive Player Wipes - Korrd - 07-08-2007
Inactive and uninterested players wipe done.
Date: 2007-07-08.
Result: ~600 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 40 days, or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes.
Next wipe: 2007-08-08
Player DB is really huge, so wipes will be done more often.

Inactive and uninterested players wipe done.
Date: 2007-08-08.
Result: 634 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 40 days (520 chars), or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes (114 chars).
player DB size is now 3282 characters.
Next wipe: 2007-09-24
Regular Inactive Player Wipes - Korrd - 09-25-2007
Inactive and uninterested players wipe done.
Date: 2007-09-25.
Result: ~1300 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 40 days (~900 chars), or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes (353 chars).
player DB size is now 4466 characters.
Next wipe: 2007-10-25
Regular Inactive Player Wipes - majkp - 12-05-2007
There will be an inactive (>40 days) and uninterested (<10 mins) player wipe on Monday 2007-12-10.
To ensure you don't loose your characters, please, follow Igiss' instructions in the first post of this thread.

Date: 2007-12-10.
Result: ~2700 characters deleted. Those chars had not logged in in the last 40 days (~2630 chars), or stayed on line for less than 10 minutes (70 chars).
player DB size is now 4796 characters.
Next wipe: In about a month (will be announced a week ago)
