Admin notice: Player warned - Korrd - 07-28-2009 The player [GST]-Big-Firewind has just been warned. Reasons:
Magic Admin link Admin notice: Player warned - Ladwin - 07-30-2009 Greetings administrator. I write here as Vice-CEO of the GST. Be sure that our team doesn't want to make trouble on the discovery server. If we trade in our enemies territory, it's just because it's more amazing than making money without challenge. Could you explain your warning advice ? If we well understood it, it's because Firewind didn't talk when he ran away. We didn't notice anything in the rules about this point. And you know, it's hard to flee with a freighter when pirates open fire on you, and write some words at the same time. We can't drive the ship and talk at the same time. If Firewind did it, it was easy for pirates to kill him when he wrote his answer. And if we complained for all time our enemies didn't say "engaging GST"... Sorry, but we prefer playing than writing complain. As you know, GST has lots of enemies : no problem, we like that. But we hope they'll try to win against us otherwise by a complaint due to a so small mistake - if we can call it a "mistake". But be sure we'll try to write a little "no", or "dream on that " or "try it" when ennemies will ask us to stop our engines. Best regards. Admin notice: Player warned - hyperion13400 - 07-30-2009 Completely agree with Ladwin. I play a bounty hunter that never speaks while hunting his target. That's the RP of the character. Many pirats shoot their CD before speaking and we never sent reports, why do pirats always do RP when freighters have surrended? If Firewind prefer to save his life instead using his keyboard, I don't see the problem too. And if these pirats cannot stop a freighter they'd better sale pizzas (...or sushis) Best regards amigo, => Kiretsu : come friends GST got fighters too ... Admin notice: Player warned - chovynz - 07-30-2009 I know this is not my "sanction", but please do expand your advice Korrd. Currently, as written, this sets a sanctionable precedent about people running away from a pirate. I really don't think you want to go down that road. Please clarify the situation so that other people know what you mean. Admin notice: Player warned - Tuckson - 08-01-2009 Greetings Mr Korrd, It will be great and kind of you to give us a response to clarify this point which seems misunderstood. Best regards. [GST]-Tuckson Admin notice: Player warned - Cannon - 08-03-2009 Sure, to clarify the problem was that the GST ship ran and docked at a GC base while being pirated by a GC player. The idea behind this warning is that the GC base would/should be hostile if one of their members is pirating you and so you shouldn't dock there (even if you can). The running away bit is fine, just not the docking at a nominally hostile base. Make sense? EDIT: After re-reading the comments, I'll say this in bold: -traders are allowed to run away without saying anything! -traders are allowed to run away and say things (not swearing but role-play insults are fine, i.e. you're a son of a corsair) Admin notice: Player warned - Tuckson - 08-03-2009 Greetings Mr Cannon, We appreciate your comments about this fact which is now clear for us. In fact, GST-big-firewind has dock one time on Ainu but he didn't know that these pirates were GC. It seems that no advice was made during the fight. Anyway, this simple warning now explained close the discussion. Quote:-traders are allowed to run away without saying anything! I have personnally laughed when i read these comments and i assure you that we'll try to find some role-play insults to make game much fun ! Best regards. GST-Tuckson. Admin notice: Player warned - Ladwin - 08-03-2009 It's ok : we understand this justified warning notice. Thanks for your funny answer, we appreciate that. *note to himself : Kiretsu are GC... :$* Admin notice: Player warned - GST CEO John Burton - 08-03-2009 Dear admins, pilots and GST members, I'm just coming back from holiday and I would appreciate organizing a nice party on Ainu with our GC friends to forget this unprofitable event. As smugglers, we'll bring the Champagne from Gallia. Of course Kiretsu are GC! Our dearest "Firewind" Cpt. of course should have known this simply by listening to their voices and seeing their faces on his board instruments. But no big matter. GST's Board will start a new cultural, ethnical, cosmo-strategical information session on all ships to inform all our pilots that the sound of GC's voices is one of the smoothest and most polite in Kusari and... well... ahem... to put it simply: GC are ALL female. And mostly very pretty when visio-speaking. Thanks to all pilots for their patience, RP and humor. See you on Ainu. GST CEO John Burton |
