To whom it may concern,

My employer, an independent trader based in Liberty, has requested that I contact you regarding the possible aquisition of a number of Barracuda heavy fighters. He has expressed to me that new pilots are often woefully underprepared for life in Sirius and it is his intent to help out in whatever small way he can.

His intent is to provide these craft to new pilots who would then be required to undertake to survive an escort run or two with my employer (paid of course.) After this, it is my employers belief they will be much better equipped, both financially and otherwise, for the future.

I look forward to hearing from you in this matter,

Sincerely,

Andrew Sykes.

Let's talk credits, Mr. Sykes. How much is your employer offering?

Mr Radford,

My employer would consider a blanket fee of 1 million credits, over and above standard Guild price of said fighters, to be a reasonable figure for a license to purchase.

Sincerely,

Andrew Sykes.

In tha absence of Guildmaster Radford, I'll tidy this matter up.

The Barracuda is a fine ship. A little outdated, considering the new technologies our engineers at APM have been working on, but a solid performer for targetting the kind of two-credit scumbags that are our bread and butter.

Having said that, the Guild must guard its technology carefully. Plus we don't want halfwit escort pilots taking our work, now do we?

Your money means nothing to us. Until such time as you can offer us something that we don't already have, I'm afraid the answer must be a no.

Signed,

George Graves

Mr Graves,

Thank you for your response. I'll let my employer know he'll have to make alternative arrangements.
