This is some footage from the battle that occurred earlier today in Kappa

This is the fleet battle that took place August 3 2009 in the Omicron Kappa system. This is the result of a few friends I convinced to do missions with me.
We eventually noticed a response of paranoia to our large numbers in the form of several corsair ships stationed at Yaren base embarking to their home system. it was then we decided not to wait around be tangled in a fight too close to Freeport 11. So that we wouldn't damage our chances of victory by forcing the nearby Zoners into thinking it was our fault as to why I massive fleet battle is occurring so close to their homes, resulting in a hostile reaction.
We began to setup blockade near Omicron Kappa jumphole. After the battlecruiser watchmen and I decided to investigate the Kappa system I massive corsair fleet jumped in from the Omicron Gamma system.
We began to engage the enemy while the rest of our fleet jumped in. We effectively down a corsair cruiser, however this lead was short lived when all of our ships were out classed by a Corsair "Legate" Dreadnought. After realizing the opportunity to study the enemy ships design for our own profit. I then began recording this video feed. Seconds after both battlecruisers in our fleet were downed by the Dreadnought. It was 2 or three gunships and my bomber that were still hanging in the fight. kit looked grim, I found myself the target for several attack fighters and even a gunboat or two, while the Legate pinned the rest of my unit down with heavy cannon fire. I was just about to retreat back to Delta when when my exit was completely blocked by the beautiful and terrible thing a member of the bounty hunters guild could see.....One of our own flagships.
A spectacular weapon of terrible power out shined even the nearest of stars in Kappa as it vaporized a nearby heap of asteroids....calling for it's true target. Almost like two supernovas collapsing into each other blinding rays of light sent shock waves that endanger everyone one within a 3,000 kilometer radius. At last we saw our advanced technology was superior to the corsairs' outdated embodiment of rage and desperation.
Unfortunately the corsairs' support craft managed to blow off one of my ship's balancers which caused me to swerve towards the dying warship, causing my escape pod to be blown out of my ship. When I came to, I was being helped out of my escape pod by familiar faces. I was pleased when the informed me that our fleet crushed and drove off any remaining enemy craft.
