The weapons are in red and the top gun is the CD only hard point. As of right now there WILL be a CD only slot, if you object, please post why. The CD/T hardpoints are on its underside also in red. It is now time to decide what the armament set up will be. I understand that the RH Bomber has 4 normal guns, and 2 turrets. I know that there has been complaints about the RH Bomber too well armed to have that many high class weapons. I personaly believe a ship that has the large energy banks it has (for the AMCs), should not have the number of high class weapon slots that it has. But getting opinions from people who fly them will help. This is a place to not only decide what will be done about the BHG Bomber, but to converse about the current two bombers. Talk about what you believe should be changed (if anything) and what you believe their role in the mod should be. Please refrain from flameing :nono:, and if you post please answer the poll as well :D. After this, the model will be finished up, skinned, and you will shortly have a Bomber for all your bounty hunting needs. I like the idea of having 1 C/D only slot, but at that point, its got MASSIVE ability as a pirate bomber. If you cut down the power a bit from the RH one, and make the turrets be only rear firing, it should be good. It would be beyond sound RP to be a pirate piloting a BHG ship. Verginix out Bounty Hunters Guild Bomber Decisions - Nightfall - 02-17-2007 I'd say to try the maxed-out variant (lvl 10) of the 3 guns + 2 turrets, with the turrets firing the whole 360 as it can easily be redefined if it proves to be overpowered. Depends on what's going to be done with the other bombers and it's maneuverability/armor. Bounty Hunters Guild Bomber Decisions - majkp - 02-17-2007 Having a BH character I am of course tempted to say the same as Nightfall, but worry it will be overpowered. 3x lvl10 guns, 2x lvl7 rurrets firing forward, 2x CD/T, 1x CD... The truth is that turrets can be redefined to fire back only and nova AMC shots are too slow to be used against fighters and swarms disappeared so okay, I'll mirror Nightfalls (oh he's so smart:)) opinion. Let's try the lvl10/lvl7 guns/turrets. Anyway, Mohr, great work! I wish I could do something like that.. That should be the optimal load out. It allows you to attack capships, and keep a good defense against fighters. |
