ID effects on vanilla mechanics - Seriphyn - 02-17-2007 I was thinking about if its possible to change the in-space designation ("To Freelancer Alpha dash one") to something of the faction you are in? So if you have an IMG ID it would be "This is Police Zeta 6 to IMG alpha dash one". Also, is it possible to change uniforms depending on the ID? Not as a biggie as the previous one but hey ho. I do beileve that the answere was that it could not be done, just one of those tings stuck in the coding that was impossible to take out. Licensing issues are different, and they could also choose to only release part of the source. Believe it or not, this happens, especially for games.
