Freelancer Companion - LivingOtta - 08-08-2009
Hey i have had Freelancer Companion but it was always stuck on the old 8.84 so to get the updated version i had to keep installing it. Then once i deleted it, it reset to the old version. So then a sign came up and no matter how many times i try it keep comming up.

Ye when i install he makes a new file called Freelancer companion in my Local Disk C:ProgramFiles I have tried intsalling it in the mod files and in Freelancer game file but still same prob. I have tried reinstalling it many times.

Try this;
completely unistall it, make sure it's gone, every install that you might have made.
re-install it and LET IT INSTALL WHERE IT WANTS TO
With a bit of luck, it should work as advertised.
Also note that it's not compatible with Win 98', so it says in the readme file.
This is the way I have installed it and it hasn't failed to work yet, no matter which mod I have installed.
Just for the record, Win XP (srvc pack 3)
