The Nox - Serpentis - 08-12-2009 History The history of The Nox is a rather simple story, it all began with the purchase of a wreck of a Junker 15 years ago; it has since then been under refit in Maltese Shipyards, this of ourse costed a lot of resources, much of which Set himself purchased and mined. The reason for a refitted Slave Liner instead of a Maltese capital ship, according to Set, was because the liner provided the necessary space for his crew and... experiments. A lot of space onboard the Liner were refitted to house several soldiers and boarders, not to mention cargo and weapons. It's equipped with 11 Slaver cannons and a launch bay, which carries a boarding craft and two light fighters. One of those fighters is piloted by Caine Hunter, a psychopathic crewman and hitman There were also some changes off the Vessels hull and armor; it was reinforced to handle alot of beating from smaller weapons and medium sized guns. Ship Specifics Ship Type: "Pilgrim" Slave Liner (Retrofitted) Crew: 64 Armanent: x 11 "Slave Liner" Cannons Ship Captain: Don, Set Ramirez Crew Manifest Name: Capitan, Don Set Ramirez Age: 39 Short Biography: The Ramirez family has strong ties to Cardamine smuggling all over Sirius, which led Set to the upper echelons of Maltese society. He was a smuggler as a young man, and later moved trough the political lines as he made several deals and bribes to the current Dons. At the age of 38 he became a smuggler for the Blue Lotus Syndicate, the biggest and most important organisation handling The Orange Dream. He quickly moved up in rank and recently became one of the two Dons representing the Blue Lotus Syndicate. He is known to be a ruthless and calculating man, with a neutral point of view compared to other Maltese. Name: Second in Command, Stephan Rodriguez Age: 34 Short Biography: Stephan Rodriguez, a Maltese soldier and tactician, has been fighting against the Nation of Malta's enemies ever since he was enlisted in the Maltese Army. He is a skilled fighter and a ruthless killer, not to mention a experienced fighter pilot. His Sabre, "The Blade" has been in atleast sixty fights against Corsairs and the Colonial Remnant. He serves Don Ramirez with unqestionable loyalty. Name: Derek Steamrunner, Tactical officer. Age: 41 Short Biography: Derek was born on Planet Los Angeles, one of the few non-Maltans onboard the Nox. He was captured by Outcast fighters when he was 15, brought onboard as a slave, when he chose to stay with the Outcasts during a slave escape set up by some Zoners, he was a year later acknowledged as a Outcast citizen and began to work onboard different Maltese capital ships as a gunner. He was recruited by Stephan a year ago to serve as the Tactical officer onboard The Nox. Name: Thorvald Goringer, Navigator Age: 51 Short Biography Thorvald is a former Red Hessian scientist, with vast knowledge of navigational hazards around Sirius and also knows a lot about Outcast tech. He was recruited by Set a couple of years ago and has served as his personal advisor since then. He is smart and devious, but has a tendency to swear in Rheinlandic ((German)) Name: Miguel Santoza, Communications Officer Age: 25 Short Biography: Miguel is what one would call a hot head. He has regularly been in fights ever since his school days, he was caught trying to steal his fathers fighter, and he is known as a fast talker,but he is also a natural expert in reading people, and can gauge someone's emotional state from their voice. Therefore, Set recruited him to be the Nox's communications officer, and had Stephan watch over him. Name: Maximillian "Max" Soto, Boarding Commander Age: 37 Short Biography: Max has been a Grunt in the Maltean army since he was 15. With 22 years in service, Max is an experienced soldier who has always relied on brute force rather than fancy tactics. He is over 7 feet tall and can lift several hundred pounds with ease. He is in charge of the boarding crew and security, and has the rank of Brigada Name: Phatos Age: Unknown Short Biography: Phatos is one of the first Slaves ever captured by Don Ramirez. He was brainwashed and has ever since then been a loyal servant. He is in charge of the slave pens, and is also a fantastic fighter and close combat specialist. He hardly ever speaks, unless his master commands it. Name: CORG (Cybernetic Organism) Age: 2 Short Biography: Originally an automaton used for heavy lifting at a Maltese base, Thorvald and Caine remade him into a functioning artificial intelligence. He has been placed in charge of cargo and ammo, and acts as the ship's AI. Name: MAPU-1 Age: 1 Short Biography: MAPU (MAltese Programmable Unit) is an advanced AI that serves as a member of Max's boarding team. It is equipped with both lethal and disabling weaponry, and can be used to survey planets and repair the outer hull of the Nox. Name: Caine Hunter Age: 34 Short Biography: Caine Hunter is Set's personal "collector", he is sent around Sirius to collect prisoners or special people that the Don want to interogate and or keep as an pet.
