Hacking to a lower ping? - Corsair - 08-17-2009
I sometimes hate living on the West Coast. Because a lot of servers are either on the East coast, or overseas. I assume that Disco 24/7 is running servers on the East Coast, because I constantly maintain a ping of 240-260. And on the USA 24/7 server, I have less than 100 ping at all times, even under a heavy load.
Is there any way for me to get a lower ping? Some kind of.. Tweak, or magic patch? PvP has ground to an absolute stop for me. Whenever I try and shoot someone, they magically leap out of the way, off my screen. Even PvE is like that.
All of my factions are on Disco 24/7 or I would have moved to the USA server a long time ago. Is it possible for a server to be available for us West Coasties?

The Discovery RP 24/7 server is hosted in the Czech Republic, in Europe. No luck for you. Don't worry too much about 250 or so ping, I get 500+ in Australia:P

110 ping is my average. It's the lag/loss that sucks with other people (Fought some guy with 30 ping, 21% lag -_-'')

yeah i am in Australia and i am lucky to get 650 ping:(

I'd kill for 240-260 ping. I'm lucky if mine ever gets under 320. I still do pretty good for myself in PvP though. Most other anzlaggers seem to be worse off than me...
