I'm thinking of setting up an independent (secondary fleet?) character. Are there any tips on this that you can give me? I can supply a character name, for those optimistic enough to hope to see me in a Bastet or Nepthys: Duncan.Idaho (Frank Herebert, don't haunt me for this)

Well I have 2 order indies.
One GB, one bomber.
The.Praying.Mantis (GB) and Innocent (Bomber).
The only things you really need to know are:
Be careful going through Alaska,
Buy a Nephthys/Bastet,
Get the Order and (maybe) Order Guard reputation by missions,
Pwn every nomad/BHG in sight:crazy:.
That's pretty much all I know.

1) DOnt get caught
2) Dont get a junker IDed IFFed bastet
3) Dont put more than TWO of the purchaseable nomad guns n the ship
4) DOnt get pwned by the BHG
5) Dont buy a recon carrier

The truth is that all Order caps except the Osiris are spammed horribly.
To be original, you must buy the Osiris.
That said, I'm trading up to a Geb right now.
