The enemies of Kusari were out in force. Though not strictly a primary fleet mission, I've attached details of a fire fight in Leeds prior to my acceptance. I was conducting a reconnaissance run and drew some... perhaps unwelcome attention, hai?

The BPA liner, Scotlands.Yard was stripped of its shield in short order and retreated to the cover of the Battleship Derby, while a Bretonian Bomber pilot attempted to scratch my Chimera. He showed a modicum of skill, if not honour. He was joined by a Bretonian primary fleet ensign (Sandermall-san), who kindly placed his Templar in front of one of my wingmen. While we were able to retrieve two Bretonian escape pods, the remainder were collected by the Prison Liner, no doubt where they belong. I withdrew from the combat once my countermeasures were exhausted, as the gajin's capital vessels made use of anti-fighter missiles. While inferior to our own warships, they still pack enough firepower to significantly damage strike craft.


On returning to the Emperor's space, I encountered a Blood Dragon firing on a Samura fighter. They're like rats, where there is one, there will always be more... A second traitor arrived on the field shortly after. At least, these ones show some pride; and Ryuu-san and I duelled. Regrettably, the dragon triumphed this time. He will not do so on our next meeting.

After pick-up I acquired a new craft and ran into a friendly zoner in orbit of Honshu. A dragon named Sei Otsuka crossed nearby, and without coercion, agreed to exchange his Kusari prisoners for the few criminals I had locked in the hold. None of the recovered pilots turned out to be Ono, nor had they knowledge of his whereabouts.
