After 4 years of ROTC and with a degree in Police Science, I've finally joined the Army - just like dad. Mom's kinda disappointed, I think she'd preferred me to become a career politician just like her, or at least a lawyer or something...but I'm not up for that kind of job. I'd probably make a lousy politician anyways - I'm far too honest, heh. Whatever. Today, I've did some basic paperwork and got sworn in - tomorrow's gonna be the tests that'll decide if I'm fit for Marine training. I just hope I'll get in...I'd love to get into the same unit as John....aw, keep dreaming, Mir. He's Force Recon, it'll be quite a couple of years 'till ya get there, tehee. I'll better get myself some sleep now. Actually, he's much nicer to me than to the other recruits...maybe he knows that I'm the daughter of the guy commanding all Army units stationed on Planet Manhattan. It's a bit scary...I did much worse than that Jackson guy at Zero G maneuvering, but while he yelled at him 'till he was almost crying for his mommy, he just told me to "try harder in the next test".
