Rule Clarification - Camtheman Of Freelancer4Ever - 09-03-2009 Well, I have a question... And I need an answer. Say im outside freeport 11, and there are two nomad bombers about 7-8k away. Nobody fired a shot. I docked on FP11 because say I dont feel like PvPing. Does the 4 hour rule apply? Im highly confuzzled. This has happened to me before in other similar situations and I went into the battle unsure and nervous... Rule Clarification - atlantis2112 - 09-03-2009 Well you never engaged. So I suppose the rule would not apply. Rule Clarification - Jinx - 09-03-2009 why should it? - unless you apply that whenever you have a potential enemy on the scope you are not allowed to dock anymore. a fight has broken out when : - a CD was fired - shield were drained by 50% ( unintentionally ) - shots were fired with the intention of engaging the enemy just "being" around does not count as an engagement. mind, - shots being fired also means they need a sufficient chance to hit. - just firing shots into the vague direction of an enemy doesn t mean that the other person must not dock anymore. usually players know very well whats a real battle and what is not. - sometimes players can even fire warning shots into the other persons shields - and it still doesn t really count as "a battle". |
