Graves finished reading the message and turned the page over. The rear was blank. Confused, he checked the envelope. It was empty.
"Um, Brian can you come in here?"
The office-bot, a Xerox 7856T, hummed gently as it entered.
"Where's the rest?"
The humming increased slighty in volume as the processor worked. The internal speaker buzzed:
"Perplexed mode. Message complete."
Graves sighed.
"Take a letter".

The Orca is a real masterpiece of Guild technology. We are proud of them. And protective too. Their use is restricted to Guild members. Only in the most exceptional of circumstances would we release one for us. And now, unfortunately, isn't one of those times.
