The Elite of the LPI - MB52 - 09-04-2009
The LPI SWAT division, is tasked with the most difficult of jobs. When a tough situation arises, these are the boys who are called. Each team is led by a different officer, Team one by Karl Agathon. These teams deal with all sorts of dangerous situations, from hostage takings, high speed pursuits, prisoner riots... etc.. anything dangerous.. happens this is where you'll find the LPI SWAT.

Weapons used
The DM-9 “Peacekeeper” - 9 millimeter hand weapon. Good for pilots to have, fits into a lifepod easily. Good for escape and evasion scenarios.
The DM-50 “Giant killer” - 50 cal. Riot gun. Guaranteed to take down the biggest Perp that is out of his mind on drugs.
The TT-90 "Little Shocker"- Hand held Tazer with enough stopping power to jump start a Patriot fighter. Has 3 settings: stun, lights out, and crispy.
MP5-Navy-Ammo per clip: 30, Max reserved ammo: 120, Modes: None. Used by basic SWAT officers to assault buildings and take down perps.
SG-550 Automatic Sniper- Ammo per clip: 30, Max reserved ammo: 90, Modes: None.Used by regular officers or SWAT as a basic sniper rifle. (Watching windows from different buildings during an assault.)
M4A1 Carbine-Ammo per clip: 30, Max reserved ammo: 90, Modes: Automatic. Used by SWAT and Regular officers (for taking down big things, in case of regular officers).
Pepper-ball gun-Ammo: 90 pepper balls. The same model as a paintball gun, and used by LPI SWAT as a non-lethal perp-subduer.
Grenade Launcher-Ammo: 6. Able to shoot different sorts of non-lethal grenades, such as smoke grenades or CS Gas grenades. Used by SWAT to subdue perps
Ship Usage
DL-Hai Liberty "Grizzly" Class Freighter, primary used as an assault and boarding craft, can also be used as a mobile command post.
CTE -6000 "Eagle" VHF
CTE-19000 "Roc" bomber

09:00 - Interspace Commerce public office on Newark opens
John Parker yawned as he moved through the office, casually taking note of his secretaries busily getting the days affairs in order. He didnt expect it to be too busy of a day, just a long and boring one.
Judy, can you get me the Avery folder as soon as possible? he waved to his secretary as he walked past.
Sure thing, also you have a 9:15 appointment with a Mr. Paul White she hurried to gather up the files.
John entered his office and closed his door behind him before moving to his desk. Lets see who this Paul White is he typed in the name into his computer Mr. White was attempting to make a claim for recent losses. Apparently a pirate attack had cleaned out Mr. Whites transport. Unfortunately.. for Mr. White, his insurance coverage didnt cover unaffiliated Pirate gunships.
Mr. Parker, I have a Mr. White here to see you Judy said over the intercom

John sat back and watched as his office door opened and a skinny man walked through. The man was wearing a worn out suit, glasses and had a look to him he looked depressed.
Mr. White, welcome to IC, please have a seat

Look Im sorry but if we paid every poor person who made a mistake wed be bankrupt, now if you excuse me I have lots of work to do John motioned to the door
No, no this cant be, you are wrong, read the contract again the mans voice became desperate
Mr. White, I must insist you leave before I call security John stood up, hitting a button on his desk
NO, you will repay me! The infuriated man now opened his jacket and pulled out a weapon, an old 9mm pistol and aimed at the startled insurance broker. You will pay me, or people start to die
09:30 LPI headquarters, Fort bush
Karl Agathon sat at his desk reading reports, when alarms began to sound. Alert! Alert! Hostage situation reported at Fort Bush, we have a code RED all Team 1 SWAT members report to hanger A
He got up and rushed down the corridors, watching as officers rushed about, making their way to their posts. As he entered he noticed most of his team had assembled. Karl headed up Team 1 personally, with other officers and deputies commanding the other teams.
What have we got? He asked the young woman who had sent out the alert.
She passed a report over Sounds like one gunman, taking an IC office hostage, no data on the weapon, nor what he wants
Alright thank you Jen he turned to his team alright, weve got a hostage situation, gear up, Robert and Sarah, I want you on Alpha with me, Brett and Keith you are Beta, Shari and Tom you are Delta.
The team quickly geared up and piled into a Grizzly assault ship. The ship launched quickly and flew through the lanes at high speed with a Liberator escort. Moments passed and Newark station was in view. alright, we are set to touch down, Newark has cleared us Jimmy, the pilot pointed out before bringing the ship into a docking bay.
Karl led the way out of the ship and was greeted by a uniformed officer "Sir, we have the area surrounded, no one can get in or out "
"Good, keep the perimeter tight, lets go guys" The team moved past the uniforms "what have we got for access points?"
"Looks like a front door and a rear employee door... there are also windows" Shari pointed to a map in her hands.
"Too many civilians in that compartment, we can't depressurize it..." Karl looked at the map closely, ok Delta make a stealth entrance from the rear employee door, Beta and Alpha are with me"
Tom and Shari ran off in the direction of the back entrance, keeping chatter to a minimum, while Karl took the other 4 towards the main entrance.
He patched his headset into the comm system of the station "This is Karl Agathon, of the police, we are here to help you, if you can, please respond"
"Beta, hold here, be ready to move in"
"Stay away! or I'll kill the hostages" came a voice from the comm system
"Get me an ID on this guy, along with his profile"
We've pulled video from the station security systems, apparently he's a Paul White, seems he was disputing a loss of cargo, and his claim got refused, he has no past criminal record. Jen piped in from HQ
"Paul? Can I call you Paul? I know your are having a bit of trouble right now, we'd like to help you, we are coming in, we won't hurt you"
Karl moved in behind Robert and Sarah, both using shields to protect themselves and Karl, the slowly entered the office where a shaking gunman stood, holding the pistol up to a frightened Judy's head.
"Please I don't want to hurt anyone"
"Delta Team has made an entrance, no joy on the suspect" Shari's voice came over the radio
"Paul, I know you don't want to hurt anyone, your just upset you lost some money right?"
"Not just money! I lost all of it"
"Hey I can understand your pain, everyone here works hard for a living, its tough but we can help you paul"
"No I just need my money..." he relaxed a bit, dropping his weapon a bit.
Distracted he didn't notice Delta team move in from behind, taking up position behind a row of filing cabinets
"This is Delta 1, I have the solution" Shari spoke up, aiming a rifle at the gunman
"its your call, if he escalates" Karl muttered under his breath
"Look, we have programs to help you, its not over, but it will be if you hurt anyone." Karl lowered his weapon slightly, indicating to alpha to do the same
Karl stepped up a little closer, leaving the safety of the shields behind him, he indicated to the other 2 officers to hold position. He reached his arm out "come on Paul, you don't want to do this, you aren't capable of hurting anyone here"
Paul closed his eyes, thought for a second.. then lowered his pistol and dropped it in Karl's hand, Robert and Sarah immediately jumped forward and cuffed the man, then led him out of the room
"You did the right thing Paul, its going to be ok" Karl shouted as the man was led out"
"Shari walked up, good work Sir, how'd you know he wouldn't shoot them?"
Karl sighed and raised the pistol " look at this thing, its rusted up so badly.. I doubt it could even fire if he tried"
"Alright team lets go back to HQ and debrief, good work"
