Admins/Moderators please help? - chovynz - 09-17-2009 Is there a way to regain the previous(es) posts from a certain thread? I did a massive post in the wiki forum section, and hate to redo that, since (some of) it was fairly emotive and deep, and once I've written that out, I can't really remember it anymore, and can't be bothered taking hypnosis to find out what I wrote, and there was colour formatting and everything, and it was well thought out and i don't actually know what some of what i said was what and if I could possibly be able to please oh pretty please have someone to look at the history of that post and maybe perhaps might be able to reconstitute the post that was, but then something went wrong and I have no idea what went wrong but it went wrong anyway and that makes me sad because i put a lot of work into it with colour formatting and heaps of stuff like that and im now a sad puppy because it just isn't right you know, when a post goes missing like that time when Baltar and I said stuff but it turned out to not be that stuff he said so i went away from that feeling silly because i agreed and was shocked that that thing was still happening but then Mal said it wasn't and i didnt believe him but then it all came crashing down like a pile of cards that used to be a card house but because the post got removed it didnt have a foundation to stand on and was just plain dumb, but it worked out in the end because Dusty Lens was around and preparing for his stuff to be an admin back then even though lots of people thought he was doing a background conspiracy thing when he wasnt, since all he was doing was playing with his great big balls of fire when he should have been finding that post, so if he or you other admins or moderators could possibly make this sad puppy a happy puppy because puppies don't like to write too much especially after a half day of bulldozering and bobcatting when puppies like to come on teh forums and talk and post about stuff but then it's not nice when posts disappear and i am pretty sure it was not deliberate but then what could've happened is that in the forum movement and restructuring that happened not long ago, something couldve got lost in cyberspace. So is there? Admins/Moderators please help? - mwerte - 09-17-2009 :( Admins/Moderators please help? - kindred - 09-17-2009 Over hyper much? That wall of text can be reduced to two sentences.... Admins/Moderators please help? - chovynz - 09-17-2009 The beginning and the end are all you need to read. For the sake of sanity. Reduced to one sentence. Is there a way to look at the history of a specified post, and bring it's sudden death for no reason, back to life? Specifically ... this one... http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...c=47446&hl= Admins/Moderators please help? - n00bl3t - 09-17-2009 Hit back and re-post? (Apologies Nathan, I do not really understand what you mean.) Admins/Moderators please help? - Agmen of Eladesor - 09-17-2009 The post is still in existance, and shows up fine for me. I plan on doing some work in that sub-forum when things get a bit more settled down - I was the first person to actually post anything there, so first you guys need to put some content there for me to figure out what to pin and work with. Admins/Moderators please help? - Dusty Lens - 09-17-2009 I actually read all of that. Hyung. I'm calling an admin conspiracy on you. *places the mark on your forehead* Admins/Moderators please help? - chovynz - 09-17-2009 That did cross my mind... Oh wait... it just did. Waaaaaagggghhh. Doin't worry about the post. I edited the non-emotive parts and just linked the things that was in the previous (missing) one. What I meant was it's still there but it went blank after I submitted it. It went blank not missing. Don't Jesus that post! Admins/Moderators please help? - Agmen of Eladesor - 09-19-2009 Resolved and helped. Thanks, have a nice day. - Agmen |
