Humble Endings - Krai - 09-17-2009 anonymous stern voice: "Oh? What's this thing?" anonymous sheepish voice: "It looks like an audio capture device, sir. It seems quite old. Want me to activate it?" stern voice (captain?): "Please." ... Sigh... Looks like we had to leave father and Bretonnia behind. I know that it's bad if it's found out that a Bretonnian Ambassador for Gallia has children like us... but... mother can barely cope on her own. Kusari is definitely not a place for the poor. My dear brother still yearns to fly, as usual. I think it's just a dream, although... he's certainly been improving at flight. Heck, he may be better than me soon. Lastly, it seems as though mother's cautious about something. It was never this bad until we snuck back into Kusari. She won't say anything but i believe that it's because of us. *knock knock* Hmm... Someone's at the door. I wonder who it i-....fzzzzz ... sheepish subordinate: "That seems to be the end of it, sir." (captain?): "Oh my... to think something like this went on..." Elsewhere: ###Message received from Cpt. Regalle: LOADING### Hmm... I haven't done this in a few years now. Lets see... where do i begin... Ah! Hello mother. You needn't worry about us now. I don't understand what happened... but... it seems as though we were left for dead in Tohoku by the government. I don't believe we would have made it if an Order ship didn't catch us. They even gave us a ship! Sure it was a rusty starflier but i made things work and and managed to get something better. Don't worry, I'm paying them back with hard work. Besides, it was all for a noble cause anyway. I'm taking care of Kyou... I guess i should say Kyousei... and The Order's training has done him good. I'm sure even dad would be proud with his progress if he ever saw him. He's still the ever-dreaming idiot and he still holds a grudge against dad for neglection. I guess I could take a different job to handle the costs... Maybe trading and my current ship would help him off his feet. I was getting tiresome of the politics of this place anyway. Do tell us how things are now that dad's back in Champagne. |
