Admin Notice: Player Sanctioned - Dusty Lens - 09-21-2009

RMCP.Kitchener RMCP.Rocky.Yellowstone has been sanctioned owing to a report posted for:

Quote:5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) until four hours have passed from the time of his/her destruction.

If the player respawns in the same system, he/she must leave the system within 10 minutes of his destruction without attacking anyone, except in self-defense. Other players are not allowed to attack one who is leaving.

Transport/Freighter/Liner which have been killed in a PvP fight may return to the system in which they were destroyed but only for purposes of moving through the system or for trade within that system. They may only act in a purely defensive manner. Resuming acts of piracy is not permitted.

Consequences: So your first LABC dies so you log in your -second- to re-engage them?

That's some kind of dedication, most people would just do a re-name. But you actually have a whole new ship to come back with.

Stripped the guns off of both.

Since I was one of the ones killed by the second re-engaging LABC.. I just have to ask a question. Can I come back to the fight if he's re-engaging? I was nearly at full b/b, wasn't a target from anyone else.

For all you know it's his best friend. So don't.

If this the rule then why do outcasts/rogues/pirates abuse this rule but get away with being sanctioned as Admin have often turn a blind eye when the unrully can often choose to cry wolf...where the equal fairness in this, answer me this (and before to say it yes some people have report in the past and been ignored even with evidence)?

I have made a similar point before about this and other admins have admitted this rule needs to be seriously relooked at...[Admin]Canon was kind enough to submitted a report.

I am man enough to accept the Sanction but the reasoning is disputed as abit bias (the rule applies to all not some!!) ....yet again I state this rule needs revamping as stated...i.e. there is vagueness and ambiguity in the rule and in others....these should be simplified to do's and don't without any exceptions (grey areas).

You know, it's ironic that you stated that we turned a blind eye to their transgressions.

You see, our psychic detector mabob which knows all things at all times was broken that day! So we were forced to rely upon archaic tools such as sanction reports in order to process evidence gathered by fine players such as yourself to be turned into delicious sanction reports.

I'm not biased against anything but people who perform acts of pathetic sportsmanship. If you feel that others fall into that same category feel free to submit your own complaints in kind.

But accusations of bias? Please. Look through the sanction reports of the past few days. I promise that you might, just MIGHT spot a pirate or two in there.

Just maybe.

Furthermore the "grey area" in the rule you quoted has absolutely nothing to do with your report and is necessary to accommodate a system with isn't comprised of 10000 rules to cover every possible scenario. The ambiguity in this case, however, is extremely sparse.

I do not care what ID you have. I do not care what ship you have. I do not care what your forum name is. I do not care if I have you on skype. I am not doing these by myself, all of the admins are reviewing and processing these sanctions and guess what, they don't care either.

Submit a sanction report or don't expect anything to happen. But don't accuse me of playing you on a slanted field just because you broke the rules and got caught.
