[FTA]Lewis and [FTA]Jordan has been sanctioned owing to a report posted for:
Quote:3.3 Out-of-character (OOC) chat must not be used in system or local chat. OOC communication in group or private chat between players will cease if one player requests it. Admins are free to communicate with any player at any time.
Quote:5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) until four hours have passed from the time of his/her destruction.
If the player respawns in the same system, he/she must leave the system within 10 minutes of his destruction without attacking anyone, except in self-defense. Other players are not allowed to attack one who is leaving.
Transport/Freighter/Liner which have been killed in a PvP fight may return to the system in which they were destroyed but only for purposes of moving through the system or for trade within that system. They may only act in a purely defensive manner. Resuming acts of piracy is not permitted.

Notes: Ok... so you got pirated and blown up. You came back ten minutes later in an Orca gunboat (with corsair guns) to kill the guys who pirated you, then when they wandered off you yelled ooc rubbish at them.
Given the content of the ooc rubbish, it seems you have a fairly solid grasp of the rules. Perhaps if you followed the same set of rules you yelled at those pirates then you'd still have your guns eh buddy?

Discovery Freelancer 24/7 RP has been sanctioned owing to a report posted for:
Consequences: losing a player which spent alot of time setting up new players and dedicating alot of time to the game
I will be brief and honest , i was " fired upon during the negotiation betweem the pirates and i ( without any engagements )" , the Exact OOC thing i was talking about , which i suppose you have read seeing you sanctioned me for it.
I had been illegally killed without engagement, and it was in all my rights to chase them down with another of my vessels!
this game was made to be fun , not use sanctions at any instance on players who spent i will say " extremely too much time " to pick up money that is unjustifiably removed thru the sanctions.
Just for a quick recap ( 50 M is over 7 hours of gameplay , of only trading and being taxed.... Goooood thinking on that , very , very fair mate.... ) Including the Mini razor which i had bought off a trader for 10M which you simple clicked away very hastly it may seem.
You Win, I have other games to play in which administrators dont simply click away at your belongings, and sanction you after you were killed in an illegal manner itself.
I would also like to know how "calling the pirates out of their base . which they did not simply wander to as you insisted " and pretending to hire someone to watch them be OOC".... that was totally uncalled for! a
The guns i had were the same that came with the vessel upon purchase , except for a minirazor, which i did not use in combat ----- and to my notice, being a merc, with a Mercenary Id permitted me to use that.
For All the people out there that have been sanctioned unfairly
I hope some rules get some over thinking
And just for the case, Think yourself before sanctioning

The particular issue is that you came back in another ship to attack the people who killed you. Here's the rule:

The second issue was the fact that you had corsair weapons (I don't know which ones) on a bounty hunter ship. The corsairs and bounty hunters hate each other and so this is not allowed.
A significant factor in this severity of this sanction was that you appeared to know the rules by what you stated in out-of-character chat.
70 million can be easily earned in 2-3 hours. If you drop me a note by PM I'll give you some pointers.
Evidence is usually provided to players on request. I'll provide it to you via PM.
Sanctions may and have been overturned if there is counter evidence. If you have any then please provide it and we'll check it out. I note though that we were convinced that you did re-engage so I can't see what evidence would change this.

sorry mate its useless to take away the sanctions for i quit,.... i was typing a message as they attacked me, being caught off guard i took only a pic of my death... which i will gladly provide to you once i feel like it... seeing that theres no rush; i have given all my funds to a polite player that answered my topic in the floods, and quit the game there after....

I wish to add to this, that even if you were killed without notice, then you still should not have come back with another character to kill those people. That is against the rules.
Another thing of note was the fact the character you came back with was an orca gunboat complete with corsair guns. This is incredibly oorp.
Your sanction will not be overturned (unless exceptional counter eveidence is brought forward).

may i repeat...
they have no proof of engaging
they have no proof of those corsair weapons on me
they have no proof i attacked them, for i did not....
and to top it off.... I do not want anything overturned, i am greatly satisfied with the results of this...
for A) i have quit the game
and b) realized what a ridiculous amount of time i wasted trying to make this game good for others.... when things like this happen and make it unpleasant for everyone

The guns were purchased upon that of the vessel... it came equipped like that,
no pics to prove it did have corsair weapons.

and for OOC sanction i recieved, the only comment i appear to have said on the pics' are " And fleeing combat is considered PVP death "...
which i uphold your sanction at the last resort is just balony after that,
talking to me about it was the first thing you could've done , like i did with their uncalled for aggression.
being a new player and freelancing what other reason would i have had to sign up, other then to read the rules, and start seeing whats going on...
i had played 1 complete month ,3 hours a night,
and i find it ridiculous that half of my cash and all my weapons " including legitimate ones " were removed.
without a verbal warning , or even a forum discussion.... anything...
no one was damaged, all what had happened after wards was a discussion,
they tried to ignore me and said i blabbed on about pvp rules...
Obvious seeing they just had broken a law by engaging me undeclared.
anyways... do what ever you want with the account...
make it your pleasure.

5.2 All attacks must be the result of some form of role play. "Engaging" is not sufficient. An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Being hit with a CD is not considered an attack. If a player is attacked he has a right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking.
5.6 Fleeing in combat counts as a PVP death. Fleeing is:

* I was not engaged there fore it was not a pvp fight
6.6 Aggressors are not allowed to destroy a trade vessel prior to issuing a demand and allowing sufficient time to respond. Demands may be cargo, credits or an RP demand, such as leaving the system. "Halt" is not a demand.
This was not the case.
I still feel as if i was unlawfully sanctionned, even after all those comments who say i deserve them

There should be a rule where if they break a rule
you have to consider it as " rule applicable "
hence
you must respect the other rules,
as if they killed you with RP, and with engagments,
thus not being able to return for the next 4 hours to the system
