Argus Info. - Plank001 - 10-03-2009 On wiki it says it has 475,000 armour. But in game it says something like 280,000 and nanos on wiki says 900 and ingame its more like 600. Which one do i trust because condiering its a lot more expensive than a normal cruiser i am hopeing for what the wiki says and not in-game. Argus Info. - Barrier - 10-03-2009 You should PM Hyung Soong about that. Argus Info. - nassou - 10-03-2009 The one in-game is correct. Argus Info. - Durandal - 10-03-2009 Woah, wait. The Argus only has 280,000 hitpoints? Perhaps it should be renamed to a <strike>cruiser</strike> destroyer rather than a battlecruiser and the price lowered? Argus Info. - Plank001 - 10-03-2009 Well then its very stupid. i mean the normal outcast destroyer that is roughly 100 mil less has 25,000 extra armour. and also got roughly 300 extra nanos.... I don't believe thats is right it doesn't make ANY sence. Argus Info. - Canadianguy - 10-03-2009 The .ini says it has 900 bots/bats and 475000 armor. I would like to see what you are basing yourself on please. Edit: Just looked in game, yes it says: 300 bots/bats and the armor you said, but you can buy 900 bots/bats, I imagine the armor is also as shown in the .ini. This mean it has 900 b/b and 475000 armor. Argus Info. - chovynz - 10-03-2009 We are looking into it. Thanks for alerting us. Argus Info. - chovynz - 10-04-2009 Ok, here's the deal. I want to know every ship that has this kind of problem. If you see something weird, let me know. Either in the Wiki subforum or PM. (I prefer the forums so everyone can see the problems and what is being done to resolve them. No problem is too small. Don't change anything on the wiki, just let me know, first and foremost. Thanks to Plank001 for discovering this and alerting us. ------- What's happening? The wiki stats are accurate, on the ships that have been updated with the Wiki Code generator. You can see which ships are updated from here - TODO Ship list The updated wiki stats are taken directly from the Ini files. So why the differences between the wiki and ingame? There are multiple infocards applied to the ship. In this case there are 5.
You can trust the stats of the updated ships. In this case it is the last infocard which has not been updated in teh mod, but is being textually applied ingame, but is not Actual ingame stats. (Probably just overlooked. There is a HEAP of development going on.) So just keep bringing these threads up if you see the ships have missing or different stats to the wiki. I'll submit a bug report on this particular one. |
