Basically, the Rogues, as an example, have Outcasts, Hessians, Mollys to trade with be it gold, blood diamonds or cardi.

But to actually be allowed to do any sort of RP apart from simple smuggling ...wait let me just elaborate.

We got a convoy of three transports and a Ptrain...which is always empty. Ofcourse, transporting goods is fun, but when you fly all the way to, say, Alpha, you meet a lot of nice people along the way with thick pockets and lovely cargo we would like to knick for ourselves. But so far, the only systems we are allowed to do that is Liberty + indie worlds.

I find that rather...retarded, actually, why would we, a pirate convoy, rolling to our friends be limited what we can plunder along the way, say, what is the RP reason for this?

And please do not start with your "pirating on allys turf" bull, since that is what Outcast gunboats do on our turf daily and sometimes I wonder if we should begin to demand trade lane fees. Not to mention what we take along the way we sell on Malta anyway.

The ID is rather...restrictive, and since not all Rogues fight for Liberty or to make your day better, I do not really see how exactly would we keep good RP with our neibhours if we aren't even allowed to engage in self-defense while smuggling.

Before Del meeped off we had a discussion about using Smuggler IDs on our transports, but then we would need to negotiate to allow us to actually use two types of IDs for the faction, which will complicate everything.

So:

ID ZOI restrictions restricting RP....y/n?

You are allowed to use secondary id's for your faction.

Basically it means you can use other id's - however the second id doesn't allow you access to any ship that your primary id doesn't allow. That means setting up units within the rogues that specialise in different tasks.

So, LR primary id would be the LR Guard.
LR would be a secondary id - your group that operates in Liberty and according to the LR zoi limitations.
You could also use smuggler, slaver id's, pirate id's and merc id's - just use the secondary id with the LR tag in the name and Robert's your father's brother!

It's a little awkward in that it requires players who are devoted to different facets of the faction's roleplay, but it generally allows for that flexibility you are looking for.
