Just a simple question, are display names composed only of symbols allowed?
If we're putting on the semblance of being an RP server, it's a little odd to see someone named solely of symbols on the forums...

Like TLM said, its for comprehension mostly.
And even if there is nothing against it, I am not sure lots of ppl would like you to have that, since most will not complicate their life trying to understand and will just say: The Random Symbols guy.

I think it's less of a problem from the RP side, because in RP threads you are usually communicating with a character (named differently), not the forum user anyway. If the character is named the same, then that is a problem for the RP, but it's still a problem of poor character name, not the forum name.
So, like the others above said, it's more about the ease of communication. And good taste, but I wouldn't force that on anyone.

Its not much of an RP problem, depending on what it is. I'm fine with using (*&^%$#@ etc as usage in a factin tag. But ridiculous random symbols could stop...
