Ship request/Modeling contest - Wuselkobold - 10-15-2009

While roaming around in my memories of the good ol' times, I stumbeled across some games from the old gloryous days of Space Combat games. After some thinking and typing some random names which I could still remember in google, I stumbled across some ships I immidiately fell in love with (again) and general shapes and appearances I totally love.
I am willing to pay 200 million to the modeler whose ship I like best, with a bonus of another 200 mil if it ever gets implemented. I know that isn't that much, but my funds and my time to trade are very limited at the moment, not to mention the learn how to model myself.
Let yourself be inspired by the pictures below. Mind, I don't want plain imports, but unique ships for Disco that somehow catch the spirits of those real classics!
I hope that some modelers will give this a shot and that we'll get some new toys to play with:)

This somehow makes me think of a Rheinland civilian Heavy Fighter, maybe the HF version of the Tigershark? Anyhow, this is my absolute favorite.

If possible, the ships should be civilian/mercenary in any case widely availiable and not restricted to one single faction.

Reward increased to 200/400 million credits, new requirement is that this fighter has IMG textures and description, maybe a possible replace to the Ravens Talon?

The Ravens Talon is a Star Wars import and just...ugly. I really like most Star Wars designs but they just don't fit into Freelancer at all.

Grab your torches and pitchorks.

The talon isn't pretty anymore. It's probably because every freelancer/merc has one. Make it a bit rarer and I may change my mind.

However back on topic, i have a few ship concpets you may want to see if they take your fancy. I'l remove them if their not what your looking for. Their mostly a collection of pictures from the internet and one or two that i've taken a hack at myself.

I kind of like the upper part of the ship, the huge engines(?) are distracting me a bit though.

This one has a nice appearance, though it looks more like it could be a fast and agile freighter, imho.
As far as I am aware, imports are going to be removed anyway? If not, just add it instead of replacing something. As long we get something new and fancy to fly I'll be happy:)

But then again this ship looks very much freelancerish... a lot more than raven talon...

Almost none of those ships fit the design conventions set by Freelancer.
