My new PC has Vista, and I've un-installed FL because the Discovery mod won't work. How do I get around this?

The " search " function is your friend :cool:
But, failing that, FL works on Vista just fine if you follow what it says in the threads you will find if you use the " search" function.
I will see if i can get a link to them when i get home from work.

Make sure your user account control is switched off. Then install the mod and re-start pc .

Here goes,
Uninstall everything you have from FL and lets start again.
Vista does not let you play online if you have certain anti-virus programmes ie Norton( spits). I use AVG free version. When installing this pick "custom install" and pick only those files which say free version.
Install Fl. Right click on the desktop icon, go to properties and check the box that says " run as administrator" also make sure its running in xp compatable.
Install FLMM. Do not use version 1.4. Either 1.3 or 1.5beta. Right click on the desktop icon. go to " properties" and run as administrator.( same as you did for FL )
Now install the mod. Make sure you have the correct mod installed.
See you in space....where all the madmen ( and women ) go.......:D

I dont think that anti-virus is on the white ( good ) list, but i may be wrong. It has been known in the past :crazy:
