Thank you. I don't think they CAN help you, since your FL Account ID on your computer, is not the same as the unique account ID stored on the Server. The unique account ID stored on the server is calculated by some obscure (as in unknown) algorithm, based on the FL Account ID sent to it by the client. I'm not even sure they can move the ships from that account to a new account, even if you manage to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that the account belonged to you. I seem to recall a pinned post about it, but my search-fu is low right now, due to being close to the end of a night-shift. ID help - TFinnegan - 10-23-2009 Alas, tis true, laddie. There is absolutely bupkus that they can do for you. I myself was in the same predicament, and had to start over completely. As The Millers said, its not that they won't, its that they can't. This time... WRITE DOWN THE ID NUMBER and put it in your sock drawer. I sure did. ID help - Cris - 10-23-2009 Or send your accounts to your email in case your har drive decides to blow up one day... You never know if your drive is like marvin... ID help - anditm - 10-23-2009 Alright then, thanks a lot for the help guys. I'd better start again then. ID help - mwerte - 10-23-2009 or get Korrd's Freelancer Account Manager and export all the accounts, and email em to yourself. Hindsight is 20/20 though. Sorry. ID help - anditm - 10-23-2009 Still, is there a chance i can get some of the money or all that i had on my chars? Now go howl. ID help - Alex. - 10-24-2009 Oh they can fix it. Give Cannon one of your old char names on each of your old accounts. He can set the move character codes on every one on that account, you can move them over to your new one. ID help - Akura - 10-25-2009 ' Wrote:Oh they can fix it. Yep, admins can set the movechar command externally. If you can prove they're yours.... |
