Just for giggles I decided to do a new FL game. The movie came up of the destruction of Freeport 7 and I had to pause it, That was by far the coolest looking station in the game. I know few of you ever go back to the SP game cause it is kind of a drag to go all through it again. But just that scene alone just before it blows up is worth another look.
Speaking of Freeport 7 Anyone ever find out where it was located? I have never come across any wreckage of it. anybody?

Sigma-17. Watch the vid, look at the 3 suns in the background. They are the 3 suns in Sigma-17, as is the star/nebula background.

Ok, this makes things a wee bit confusing 4 me then.
I know, where FP 7's debris are, seeing them every time I pass S-17 on my trade run.
So if they are, where they are, then what kind of cutscene takes place in Omicron lost?

Some time ago, when BSG was trying to get a system, we asked for Omicron lost. It already had a perfect scenery and since the lost Battlestar was nearby, it would be the first place in Sirius, the Colonials set foot upon.
Unfortunately, we were denied the place, the reason was, that there was some cutscene taking place there and that it was a vanilla system. Honestly, been scouting FL 1.0 like mad and couldn't find omi lost for sh(...)t.
So, I ask of thee, what cutcsene?

Exactly that cutscene! The FP7 attack. You also can't get to Omicron Lost in the original version of FL.

Actually.. I remember there being a file in systems folder called FP7 System or just FP7.. Wouldn't that be where it takes place? Isn't that the cutscene one (makes it so it doesn't show the Sigma-17 NPCs flitting around) and then the debris added into Sigma-17, with the FP7 suns meant to mimic the Sig-17 ones?
