It's an issue with FLServer.exe. Use Ioncross, and then you have to change a few settings since you're not running a 1.0 version. Before you ask, no, I don't remember what to change and how to make it work. I just remember there are a few settings that must be modified.

Say what ?? You do not need anything besides FLServer. You do not need to change any settings in FLserver. You do not need to start FLServer from IFSO, since you do not need to use anything besides FLserver.

Serverload of 0 ms is normal, when there are 0 players logged in.

Have you opened the required ports in your firewall ?
If you are using the normal included Windows Firewall, it should have prompted you.
Open up port 2302/UDP as well as allowing FLServer to communicate outside your local area net if you want to have internet players.

I have a similar problem where instead of giving me an IPv4 address in the game for the server, it gives me a v6 one which I can't seem to connect to. Bah. Stupid Microsoft product.

Start>All Programs>Microsoft Games>Freelancer>FLServer

Don't start it from FLMM. Also be sure to get FLHook and the plugins, plus DAM. No need for IONCROSS if you're using DAM.

here's the deal. ive just opened the ports on my router for both fl single and multiplayer.

i launch flserver, without any additional applications to adjust it's function.

i look for the game, and there are all the servers that usually are there, and mine is there too, but it has a weird ip : fe80::7879: and so on.

anyone knows what is wrong?

Yeah. You need to disable IPv6. You're using Vista/Windows 7, right?

It should be somewhere in control panel or something. Either way, disable IP v6 and that error should be gone:P
