i like the third one... why noone puts that kind of ships in his mod? i think its too much work to put such model into fl format... ?

The third one is some kind of battle ship. The fourth looks like it's the Corvet you see fleeing the Star Destroyer in Star Wars episode 4 (you know, the original one). The fifth looks like the Sleeper Ship Unity in Alpha Centauri, although I could be wrong on this one.
They might be kinda useful, but something has to be done about the colors. Oh, and the Corvett would need the turrets removed, and turret hardpoints put in their place.

The first one is a Imperial Dreanaught from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. It was developed by the republic shortly before epIII. The third is a modification on that model.
Nice Battleship, but don't recognize it.
The fourth is a modification on the Corvette model. I agree, the colors are hideous!

Interesting ship. Maybe a little redesign here and there.... I'd like to do it myself. Starship design is something i like to do... But between school and work, i have little time to do it...
Suffice to say that i havent computerized my old designs yet (those are in paper). And i want to do it since 1999.... Maybe this summer (winter in the northern hemisphere [ahhhh wiiiiinteeeeeerrr, i want the winter back. i hate summer, i hate heat.....]....)

could you show us your drawings? i started drawing again today since several years... maybe we can redesign the ships, so that discovery gets really big ^^
i?d like to see new designs. not even new ships but the design. and i mean not based on the original ones but completely new. i love creating space ships ^^
i hate the weak done ships where textures try to simulate shape... they?re disgusting. know what i mean? eg the homeworld ships. homeworld?s ships aren?t made for close-ups...

Actually, they are. Your rendering tech just has to be really good. Well, for Homeworld 2, at least.
