Open Transmission to Hotshot Pilots and Combat Aces - Tales23 - 11-26-2009

<::|Message: Attention fighters, aces and anyone else who thinks they got what it takes to be part of the first project of the new Sirius Gaming League. Xtreme Combat! You might be asking yourself what is the Xtreme Combat? Well it is the first organized combat league in Sirius and it is going to be big. New Holo-tainment technology has given us the chances to do something that has never been done before. On board The Alexandria, (a new Luxury Liner currently under-construction) is a new state of the art Holo-tainment Band system. These new bands are connected to fighters and allow the user to fly the ship as if he were really inside it. This allows pilots to participate in combat without risk of death from being blown up. Which brings us to why I am broadcasting this....

The SGL is looking for pilots to participate in this league. IF you think you have what it takes to win tournaments than we are looking for you.

Benefits:
  • Pilots spend time aboard the Luxury Liner "Alexandria" while tournaments are in progress.
  • Tournament Prizes between 10 - 50 Million Credits
  • Chance to win Fame and Glory in combat and show your might across all of Sirius.
  • Members of the SGL do not pay entry fees.
  • Join now and earn a slot in the SGL's Roster and have first Priority for special events.
Requirements:
  • All pilots must be 18 years or older. (IC not OOC)
  • $1,000,000 Entry fee*
  • Must use a ship approved by the SGL. (More info on this when first Tournament is announced)
  • More to come....
The Basic Tournament will consist of a 1v1 3-battle round where pilots need 2 out of 3 wins to progress to the next round. Fighters will eliminate each other until only two remain, the final match will be recorded and streamed live to all of Sirius. Eventually more matches maybe recorded but at the moment we can only afford to record the final match. Any interested pilots respond here or on private communications.|::>

<::| Message: Well there is no need to be so hostile, this is only the start of our operations I'm sure you'll find some of our other planned events to your liking both as a test to your combat and bring in some credits should your skill be high enough to win the competitions. Now with that said why should that keep you from fighting in the other tournaments as the skill required is high and the credits are there to be made? But it's up to you. |::>

OOC: It's going to be an actual combat in space in locations which will change. The combat is real but ICly your pilot is on the Liner except when I host a Death Match.:)


EDIT: I wasn't going to post the information here but I'll say a few more things, expect a detailed post soon. The ships will be balanced so it will be a battle of skill rather than who has the better ship. We may add specialty fighters which will have lower odds but I'm still working out the details.

<::| Message: In response to the concerned Buccaneer I doubt the good Alexander Brown would risk troubles with the authorities by making an official statement but I suspect an arrangement for you and others who are in the same situation could be made. Such arrangements wouldn't be without cost but I assume if certain factions would declare neutrality with his organization he would have no reason to prevent them from fighting. As for individual pirates the only thing you can do is contact him yourself, he is a businessman after all and I'm sure a "Legal" arrangement can be made to allow you to fight. After all he did say ALL of Sirius. |::>
