Discovery Mod Radio - Discovery UK - 11-29-2009
I'm pretty sure there was one person behind it, but recently quite a few people have asked if Discovery UK's frequent "Sirius Star" media broadcasts would be airing on an actual radio station for the server. I looked into the opportunity and they have indeed been streaming now. Only for a few days, but it was suggested that this could become so much more. So lo and behold, the streaming server was moved to a dedicated box with the cap upped to 100 listeners (can support more, but pretty pointless), and a site was formed.

There have already been several suggestions as to what would actually be broadcast, but things like this always work best when the people it is aimed at are involved in making the decisions. Your feedback on anything is absolutely recommended (details below).
So, if you're at a loss, or simply want to check it out, drop by the site now and hit the "[color=limegreen]Listen Live!" link to open our flash web player. Then, why not hit "Request" for the DJ if someone is online?
I figured as this whole effort is for the community, why not let them have a more active stance? If you're interested in broadcasting, then why not visit the site and hit the "Staff" link and take a look at the steps you need to send us an application?
Remember, this station is intended for players of all ages. Inappropriate requests will result in your IP being reported to server admins!
