To: Dr. John Henry Holliday - Tales23 - 12-04-2009 OOC:Decided to post a new topic as a reply from you would have derailed the other topic. To: Dr. John Henry Holliday - Doc Holliday - 12-05-2009 *incoming transmission* Comm ID: [TAZ]Doc Holliday Location: Personal Quarters, [TAZ]Med.Force.One Encryption: High To: The Laughing Man I apologize for my delayed response. With the work ongoing here in Omicron Theta, I only get to review my tranmissions a time or two per day. I do thank you for your generous offer of support. For now, I think we're set, at least medically we are. We have been very well supplied by many and medical staffs have been loaned to us. The outpouring of support has been to say the least, awesome! Those who survived, and there were several hundred, will be wearing some scars for life because of it but they are stable. Slowly, I have begun releasing patients. I can't really speak of the technical aspect of repairs to Corfu Base and Freeport 5 as I'm not skilled in such things but I do know that Freeport 5 is still closed as radiation has made work impossible. I do believe the Zoner Trading Consortium has been handling that but I'm not totally sure on that. If you choose to head out this way, I'm sure that your services can be put to use, even if that means just taking some of the released personnel home. The Genesis looks like a fine ship and I would be honored to at least see it, perhaps working together in research projects and exchanging information. I'm always game for that. I also appreciate the fact that you don't ask for credits. Med.Force runs entirely on donations and my own trading so naturally, there isn't much extra here. If you are out this way, just give Commander Haddock a call on the coms as he commands Med.Force. We are still sitting outside of Corfu and most likely will for some time during the repair process. Not only are we taking care of the injured but we are also supplying power to the station. I also have most of the base staff of Freeport 5 on board, many of which are still in rough shape. If you have them, we could use some surgeons who are well versed in skin grafting. I have a few people that can but not many. Some of those needing the surgery are in pretty bad shape. I have grafting supplies, just not the personnel to carry out the procedures in a timely manner. It is something I have yet to do myself so I may be sitting in on these procedures. [Broadcasting: [TAZ] Med.Force.One] [IFF: Creeper | Lane Hackers] [Security: *****] Greetings Doctor, my associate has informed me of your need for skilled surgeons. My name is Julian Sullivan and I am well versed in various medical procedures which of course includes the aforementioned skills. My team of researchers are very talented, and we will offer you our assistance once The Genesis arrives at its' destination however I will request that all patients be operated on using our machines if they are to be assisted by my team. Our equipment is extremely unique and we would fair poorly if forced to use other technology in such a delicate task. You may send as many surgeons and the like to observe the work being done if that suits you, however I guarantee their safety as long as they are in my care. Mind you, naturally a great deal of our facility will be restricted, once you arrive on our ship I will equip your men with temporary access cards to all level A facilities on board which includes several medical bays, quarters if required, meal areas, a recreational facility, as well as observation decks 3, 7, and 12A. Some of our assistants will be present to make sure you know where everything is. It is my hope that we arrive in a timely fashion without any interference or disturbances to our facility. My best regards, [Transmission End]

I thank you for both. I feel very good knowing that I will be able to return these victims to their families in good health and appearance. Your technology is, to say the least, spectacular. My ship has some very good medical equipment on board but I am interested in aquiring one of the machines we used today. We can discuss terms and conditions later. It was also a pleasure to be able to buy you gentlemen a drink afterwards and to dine with you afterward. It seems we have much to learn from each other. Perhaps, when our medical work is done, we can share in some joint research projects together. I think we would make a good team. I would rather not discuss this matter over coms as people tend to intercept such transmissions. I have my feelings on it but nothing I would tell over the waves. I propose this. We can meet over dinner in my quarters of MF1. This will also give me the chance to give you the tour of my investment. Over dinner, I will be more open about the Council, where I stand and so forth. For now, I must get some rest as we have another long day ahead of us tomorrow. -Doc To: Dr. John Henry Holliday - Tales23 - 12-09-2009 |
