TRADER ALERT: Its a trap crete>tripoli superconductors - silverleaf - 12-08-2009

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Fired up freelancer companion like I do at every patch and found 19778profit/s route from planet crete to tripoli. This time, I'm smarter. Opened up FLstat to confirm, and indeed, that route does not exist.
As funny as it would be to see half the traders with pirate trains and corsair IFFs overnight, and the other half with no IFF just avoiding fire and trying to quickly sneak in a few. Man I'd give up my ballz to see that day.

Oh and also that unprofitable but safe Plutonium route from helgoland station to the ring? Its gone now. Good riddence. I'm gona miss you old friend *breaks down and cries* OK no seriously it wasn't worth it from the start.

TLDR: To all traders out there, that route does not exist, don't bother hauling your sorry ass down there.

Huh.
Now I'm actually going to have to look into this and see what's up.

Wait, what?

I must see this for myself.

Edit: Err, it doesn't come up with that figure on my FLCompanion...

19778profit/ huh?

I would place a picture of Admiral Ackbar here, but I see that it's not flood and thus I'd feel guilty about that.

Is it possible that your Companion is borked, Silverleaf?
Mine isn't listing a route like that.

TRADER ALERT: Its a trap crete>tripoli superconductors - Camtheman Of Freelancer4Ever - 12-08-2009

Highest one for that would be conductors to tripoli, 481 C/Sec

Ive seen 1000 C/secs before, this is nothing new.

It's really a trap ?

But I see it, both FLStat and FLCompanion ... I guess I'll get it in game. That would be so nice ! Guess what, my only trader is a corsair IDed one:P

TRADER ALERT: Its a trap crete>tripoli superconductors - silverleaf - 12-08-2009

Actually I didn't even bother doing it in game, suspected it all along.
Every patch, I do a scan with freelancer companion to pick up potential lootfests. Just being kind enough to tell other people not to fall for it, FLComp is telling lies again. I'm beginning to think they throw in one of these fake routes into every expansion just for the lulz.
And I'm zoner. I do business with anyone, its not OORP for me to visit corsair bases, just that I prefer not to.

PS: I think this post went offtopic like on the 2nd page, so I'll ignore those posts.

No lulz. Sometimes you just cannot think about the economy between all the bases out there. Sometimes you make something glitchy like this.

In those cases so you wouldn't have to get a new update, admins are controlling the prices serverside, making FL Companion and Stat lie to you all day along.

Guess it's time to get my Thetis and do this OoRP route at least 4 hours a day to get some funding done:)
