As everyone know the Freelancer ID and IFF grants their owner the privilage of being untrusted in exchange to an almost unlimited ZOI.
But it is hard to earn this trust, for example, a freelancer next to an Outcast base would be treated quite coldly, or, better yet, a pilot passing through Blood Dragon teritory.

Guns were an easy way to show where does your side lie, however, that sometimes is not the case.

How about an IFF, which could be used along with civillian weapons and the Freelancer ID.

Eg: Rheinlander - Albert Muner; Freelancer ID, Civ weapons.

This would allow characters to allow themselves to "settle down" as freelancers in a certain house.
This could also be used with the, say, Miner, Generic Trader IDs and the Researcher ID.

Since there is no missions or bribes avalable, and people do not loke F1ning to get, say, an outcast bribe when they get offered ALG, Corsair or BHG ones non stop, i'd suggest if the IFF was added after the apropriate /restart choice.

This would allow people to associate their characters to non-millitary and non-trading groups, while, at the same time allowing their origin to be seen and keeping the whole "Freelancer" aspect.

what do you think?
Would be nice to see some gallic reserchers or, say, bretonian civilians flying around.

I approve of this.

Sounds good enough to me.

Agreed. Keeps the need for Freelancer rep to make sure those rowdy level 15 NPCs don't go out and shoot you randomly

Sounds cool. It allows newer players with less well-defined characters to you know "define" themselves a little more.

However, would this be implemented in the command. Or should it be a command?

House IFF's - ... kur nubÄ—go? - 12-14-2009

Sounds good. But regular freelancer IFF will stay as I understood? Yes?

House IFF's - Guest - 12-14-2009

Ofcourse

House IFF's - Boss - 12-14-2009

I am Boss, and I approve of this idea.

So if I'm understanding this right.

/restart Rheinlander makes you have a little "Rheinlander - Your Character's name" as part of the IFF? Or would it ally you fully as a Freelancer but also with Rheinland Lawful's (or unlawfuls) as semi-green, and you still have the "Freelancer - Your Character's name" ?
