"I, Guard Captain Izii Helfari, have decided to vacate my position as a delegate amongst the people within the Council of Zoners. I leave on a good mark as I feel as if I've learned and grown to accomodate my position as a Guard Captain for the Zoners in a more fulfilling role. I will step out of the knowing loop of any of this pointless politics the varying factions struggling for noteriety, fame, or power wish to use. Do not take this as an insult, its how people are. We have our own ambitions driving us foreward. I too have my personal persuits, and these motivate me to cut ties to any official faction on a hardened role. Rather I would prefer to be as an individual Zoner Guard who represents himself.

"While preforming my chosen duties as a Guard pilot and captain, I do have my own persuits. These persuits might endager some eventually, may soil the name of a group I might be a part of. As I am an idealist, I expect such. Change does not happen without a catalyst and the will to act upon it. In my case, I have to give up one persuit. Diplomatics will no longer be my frontier, I leave it to more talented people, I shall take up a more combative and disciplined role towards defense and securit of Freeports, starting with the distribution of highly trained Zoners Guard who will provide security upon the each Freeport I can gear them towards. They will prevent any planned attacks, such as Corfu or Freeport 5.

"Lastly, my own persuits as a man. I will not lie, I walk a thin line that could upset many. My choices to be aggressive against a known terrorist was hailed as good news and as bane for others. Let them fall upon my head solely from now on. My choices to take excursions into Nomad systems to study and assault Nomad forces deemed dangerous or on the move to attack will undoubtedly cause a ruckus someday soon. Lastly, my choices to research and gather information on Nomads as a species is dangerous, and therefore I have moved necessary material to my Fearless cruiser, the Broken-Hammer, to convert it into a dual purpose vessel. Research and tactics primarily, with the ability to conduct experiments on artifacts and Nomad samples free from risking those who don't already know the risk.

"Thusly, I sever ties to the Council of Zoners, and leave this mission statement for my vessel. I leave the statement of intentions so the Zoners as a whole will know what to expect and choose their stance upon me here and now, and not ten kilometers down the road.
