Help With Exporting Please! (Texturing in milkshape and then exporting to FL) - Naturalist Fouche - 12-23-2009

Hi,

I have made a couple of FL Ships in a 3d program I use called: "Metaseqouia"

I can save to 3ds, and then get it in milkshape and all, But i need someone to tell me how to export it succesfully into FL and start flying it, ofcourse and how to Hardpoint it and stuff.

I looked at Ini and Ship Editing By Seth Karlo, but I cant find the Original Topic only the one posted to the Main part of the Forum :(Its very useful and then it just ends abruptly at "Oh yes, now you see why .DDS is nicer? There is 1 .DDS file to every 8 .TGA files." and thats the last line!!?? And the Title says: "How to put a ship you've made ingame" But clearly it does not take it all the way to the finalized thing..:(

Somebody please help me. I am in need of testing a VHF for the Gaians :)

Thanks. :)

Woops, I'm awful at starting things and never finishing them >.<

Add me on Skype, my username is Sedrander

Once you have it in MS3d, you need to texture it and then export it using the .CMP exporter. Once you have a working .CMP use the .MAT exporter, and then rename them to something that already exists, and replace ones that already exist, then you can test them ingame.
