Quick question on trading. - Snip3rNife - 06-25-2007

I've been wondering for a little while now. Are trader accounts allowwed to take Passengers, VIPs, etc. to other places?

Yep. That is the meaning of trade. Buy something from here, with a price, and sell them there, for profit:)

Ok. I was just a little unsure, that's all.

I don't prefer transporting VIP's - sure they bring in a nice price, but they take up too much damn space in your hull... and they are full of crap...

I must confess, I have been wondering about that. I can understand transporting prisoners like common cattle, but surely VIPs and even regular passengers would object to travelling in an airless, windowless cargo hold.
Aside from the luxury cruise liner, I can't think of a single ship I would pay a single space credit to travel in, unless I had to be somewhere really urgently.

I'm probably gonna get shot down for overcomplicating matters, but howabout a special ID for passenger carriage, and some cargo ships with windows? Mm! I know! So, you can buy those cargo pods for Transports and Trains, right? A little work with a paintbrush can transform them into passenger compartements fit for those arduous space journeys.

It won't make a difference, Sir Smeg - they are all locked in their little cacoon looking pods anyway.

Obviously space-celebrities are far more dignified and willing to endure inconvenience than those Hello! Magazine spawned cretins that pass for idols in this century...
