I know most games have some kind of editor in which you can make custom cutscenes, like in Unreal series, GTA series, I think Starlancer had one too...

Or is there a way to do it manually. *shrug* I tried googling and found little to nothing, so i'd ask the gurus instead.

Spam away.

Although it might be equivalent to hitting a Starflea with a SNAC 2k away, try PMing this guy. He made a custom cutscene for Freelancer as a joke.

Cutscenes are scripted LUA session. Google LUA for information on writing such scripts. Check out the existing cutscenes to see how to script them. They are in subfolders in the DATA/SCRIPTS folder, and has a .thn extension.

You might want to pick up the .thn decompiler from here : http://www.cyberionsystems.com/freelancer/

The link to the scene provided by Crucial Mistake was made by a Freelancer Development Team Member as a bang for leaving the company.

Other than that, Miller shows his general awesomeness at all things computer.
