A mysterious communication from Syana Kyan. - Seth Karlo - 12-29-2009

...and again, our latest news story today is that the IMG Research and Development Director Syana Kyan has gone missing. After resigning from her position, she was spotted on Java station, before a friend raised questions as to her location, at which point a search was started. If anyone has any information they can pass on, it is gratefully received.

Missing... yes... I am missing. Lost to the endless mysteries of space and time, to fall deep into an abyss of forgetfulness. Some think that I left. Some think that I ran. I did neither, for I was taken.

They grabbed me, pulled me along the corridors, pushed me through doorways, carried me when I attempted to fight... fight back against those who would hurt me so. I did know where we went, except it was to a ship... an Outcast ship. I could tell by the stench of cardamine that hung in the air.

We travelled for weeks, each second becoming hours and each hour becoming days. Blindfolded, gagged, bound... all I could do was wait, slurp humiliatingly as my water was thrust beneath my nose, ungagged only long enough to gulp it down. Food was any scrap I could lick from the floor, as my captors laughed at my bound form attempting to survive.

They took my uniform, left me in my underwear to lay there, and before long, a long lead was attached to a neck collar, connected to a metal bulkhead. Sometimes, they would remove the blindfold to cackle at how the light blinded me, to sneer at my attempts to ignore them. Everytime I slept, they would kick me, pinch me, touch me... to make me awaken, make me jump as they tortured me.

I was impressed at how subtle their torture was... at least at first. Then, when the small ship docked with a larger one, I managed to see what it was I was being led onto. An Outcast Battleship. I knew then that I would find a way to kill myself, to save myself from what was undoubtedly lying ahead.

And I tried taunting them, I tried ignoring them, insulting them. They would just laugh at me. But they punished me for it, humiliated me by standing me naked in front of a hundred men, hurt me by stringing me up by my wrists for hours on end, deprived me of water, of food, of relieving myself.

My skin became tauter, my bones started to show, and I still did not know why they had taken me, what they wanted...

Then the torture began proper.

They started with electricity, attaching electrodes to my breasts and zapping me whenever I refused to answer a question. They were standard at first, location of IMG mining operations, security codes to bases, and the like.

It was when they started asking about my personal life I was confused. What did that have to do with anything?

When I refused to talk about the other Directors, refused to give them locations, names, ages, anything, they gave me to the crew for 6 hours to do with as they wished. I survived by thinking of forests... big, beautiful forests full of green trees and singing birds. I danced through the trees while the sunshine kissed my brow, and I managed to ignore the men around me... violating me.

I kept dancing through the trees when they asked me about Gallia, about the council, about the minefield. They tantalised me by hovering food, water, clothes just out of reach.

And finally... after days upon weeks upon months of utter hell, they gave up. Decided that I was pretty enough to warrant being their... their slave. So I was dressed in high heels, leather corset, stockings, the works. Whenever they wanted something I would have to do it, staggering around almost drunk as they forced me to inhale the cardamine dust.

Everytime I refused to do something, I would be hurt, humiliated and tantalised again. I would be led around on a leash, treated as a lower life form, never allowed to speak. I shall go into no further details here, as my horrors should not be forced upon any other...

I managed to steal a communicator, and this is what I now speak through. I do not know where I am, except that it is an Outcast Battleship I am on board. I do not know how long I have been gone for, and I do not know the name of my captors... but please, I am alive... but I do not know for how much longer I will be Syana Kyan.

Until someone... anyone can hear this... hear me, I shall just continue dancing through the trees...

//Anyone who wants to RP this are welcome to do so.

'Director Kyan, can you hear me? Director Kyan?' The only thing that the Eric McGillian could hear was static. His Charon was parked high above Planet Malta, approximately forty klicks. He was a freelancer working for the Colonials and was doing recon on the Outcast fleet movements. From his location he could look down upon the entire system of Omicron Alpha.

It had been hard entering the system, but his girl had pulled through it. There were a few holes in the ship which McGillian could see with his eyes, but didn't know how many more there were. But all he cared about was that all of his weapons were intact, he was still breathing and his engines weren't about to explode.

He had picked up the signal coming from one of the Battleships he had been monitoring a few hours ago. But it had been jarbled, so it took a while to translate. He wondered if his communications had been damaged. Most likely.

'Director Kyan? This is Freelancer Eric McGillian. Bah!' He slammed his fist into the console as all he received was static. He started turning the knobs that adjusted the signal strength. He just needed a few minutes....

Finally, he found it. The frequency he had been looking for. 'Director Kyan, can you hear me? My name is Eric McGillian, I'm a Freelancer working for the Colonials. I can get a signal out to the IMG. I know this may sound like some bad movie, but just hang on. Hang on.' He cut the transmission, not wanting the risk the Outcasts picking up any of it. Or worse, tracing it back to his location.

He sighed, and started twisting the knobs of his control panel once again. He had to get a signal out to the IMG immediately. At the same time, he turned his full attention to the Battleship that the signal had originated from. He had to keep his eye on it.

"...Free....Freelan... Eric? Please... please be careful..."

The communication is riddled with static. Then, after a second, clears.

"Please, contact the IMG. Perhaps they can help me... don't risk yourself to save me, I am not worth that..."

A gasp is heard, and the mic rattles as if it had been pushed hurriedly underneath something. A second later, a harsh male voice is heard.

"Good morning Slave, get on your knees."

Silence is heard, and then a vicious slapping noise.

"Show some respect to your betters Slave!"

"Good...good morning master..." is heard from Syana.

"Better. Come on."

Her shrieks are heard as he drags her from the room, whatever room it is. Then... silence.

"Hmm... An ex director of IMG calling for help? From Alpha apparently?"

James Nibbler, 1st Liutenant of the Colonial fleet was sitting in his room on Java, just waking up from sleep.

"Hang in there, ma'am, I'll carry the news straight to the Colonial president!"

"Hope she heard me..."

James wasn't even sure the recipient could hear him. "Well, in any case..."

He immediately contacted president Panzer...

Only Eric would receive a this transmission as it forced its way through his security system on his ship. the communications would flicker erratically as the mans image comes on the screen. there would be a black cloak over his head to hide is identity, only having his throat and mouth exposed. "Greetings Mr McGillian I understand you wish to help the lady, and I wouldn't mind helping you achieve that, there were certain people that bound my hands down when it came to the outcasts and their operations, but they no longer have control nor command of me, I would like to speak to you if I could in person. send a message to a civilian mining vessel 505A and we will intercept it. Let the lady contact you again so that the people that took her do not discover what shes taken" as the transmission faded away which also disrupted his systems he'd just hear a slight whisper "every ones worth something." which that Eric's ship would no longer be intruded by the signal that had just come and gone as if it was never there.

The whisper comes slowly...

'Come to me... reach me from beyond the void.
Kiss me, slowly, feel me.
As I fall, head over heels, I listen closely to the world.
And I know that everything I live for and love,
Is being torn away from me.

Just put your ear to the glass,
Listen to the end of a persons humanity.
Shh, be quiet, the end is near,
Hear every detail, then give a cheer.

Don't cringe or wince,
or shy away.
Feel the shiver run through your bones,
And along your skin.
Ha,
Coward that you are,
You cannot stand pain like I feel.

Deeper than veins,
Further than bones.
My humanity and my violated soul leak... leak...
Wisp away.

Just dance... dance with me beneath the trees.'

Soft crying is heard before the communication ends

'If some random hooded figure's gonna tell me to do something without more information, then they can go to hell!' He slammed the console again, sending away the message. 'For all I know it could be an Outcast Don!' He immediately returned to his gentle twisting of knobs and dials, somewhat desperately trying to find the frequency he needed to contact the IMG.

He was almost there when his receiver picked up another signal from the Ex-Director.

Ha,
Coward that you are,
You cannot stand pain like I feel.

Deeper than veins,
Further than bones.
My humanity and my violated soul leak... leak...
Wisp away.

Just dance... dance with me beneath the trees.'

McGillian thought he heard a faint crying before the signal was cut off. He wiped away a tear that had escaped his eye before continuing his search for the frequency.

A mysterious communication from Syana Kyan. - Jeremy Hunter - 01-04-2010

On her ship, Ellie recieved the transmission. She was appalled by the Outcasts, thier...cruelty.
They had no honor, no standards.
Ellie was busy; too much to do.
Izzy was busy, and she was watching Ellie.
She launched thier lone Hydra gunboat, the Blades of Athena, captained by thier old friend Cassie Akrich. All girl, all guns, all attitude. She also sent Lt. Furoli in a temporary Eagle, along with thier two Insurgents and two of thier Roc bombers.
She wished she could help, but if Izzy need exctract, the Orion would be needed.

When the wing, which was designated Echo, arrived in Alpha, they picked up the Charon. ANd something coming in from behind.
It was an Order Nephthys.
"Major Hunter."
Only one Nephthys would be that crazy to follow them adn stay hidden.
Well, this pilot and another crazy guy in the Order.
"Lt. Lead the way."
A Corsair Osirs entered Alpha, followed by bombers, fighters, adn a trio of Gunboats.
"This is the General aboard the Sacred Lotus; He will assist us if need be. He is an old friend of mine. They will stay hidden until we can find the signal. Thier window is twelve hours. After that, they have to go. They can;t be away from Gamma for long."
The Lt. Nodded.
"Engaging cruise."
As they went up, Lucy Evans called Jeremy.
"What if we can;t find her before the General leaves?"
"Easy. We piss off the Outcasts and draw them away while we have Cassie and her load of Marines get the Director."
"That is suicide."
"That is our job; To get her off that ship. Twelve hours lieutenat; Then we have to think of a new plan other than Corsair's distract and we slip in."
"Roger that Major."
Echo wing headed for the Charon.

Alarms blared and Syana looked up in shock, it appeared that the battleship she was on was under attack.

Men ran past her cell, screaming into communicators and at each other as the ship rumbled. They were moving. Syana picked up her communicator that she had stolen and spoke urgently into it.

"This is Syana to anyone out there, the ship I am on has just started to move. It is a Sarissa class battleship, I repeat, we have just started mo-"

She cried out as someone knocked her down. She peered upwards, seeing her handler, one of the men who had captured her in the first place. His eyes were alight with fire and his hand was closed around the handle of a curved knife.

"Slave... you're a thief... bad news honey, thievery is a bad thing."

Syana's eyes widened slightly as he approached, her almost naked in the garments they had dressed her in, him in standard outcast uniform and a good 6 or 7 inches taller than her.

He moved closer, and she scrambled to her feet, moved backwards, tried to find purchase on the rough metal floor.

"Slave my dear, seems some Corsairs have come to rescue you... isn't that sweet?"

Syana looked up, and the man faltered, for something had just erupted in her eyes. Her high heels, tall and menacingly sexy seemed to snap through the air, connecting solidly with the mans groin. He groaned and bent over, and her hand connected with a large whack on the back of his head.

She picked up the knife, and without pausing, without hesitating she buried it deep into his chest, screaming triumph as she did it.

"BLOODLUST" she screamed as she slid into the corridor, heels being pulled off with one hand, the knife dripping with blood in the other. She took one look up and down the empty corridor, and then stalked towards the bridge, a crazed look in her eye and a bloody knife in her hand.

The beserker within her had awaken.
