Background:

A few days ago, the [NLH]Phoenix was captured by Bretonian Lawfuls, BAF|Ens.M.Bridge, BAF|Adm.Percy_Nelles, and BAF|Ens:Tommy.Atkins in the Manchester System. The captain Gregory "Xanther" Hunt surrendered, and agreed to follow the lawfuls to BPA Newgate. The entire crew was arrested:
  • Captain: Gregory "Xanther" Hunt
  • First Mate: Ryan "Abra" Fredricks
  • Pilot: Elizabeth "Mantis" O'Mally
  • Engineer: Thomas "Groundhog" Kellar
  • Munitions Officer: Isis "Pyro" Fredricks
(Yes, this is the same crew as my Gunship. They borrowed the Phoenix for the first time, and slipped up & got caught red-handed sniffing the lanes for HFuel transports.)

Who?
NLH & Gaian Indies versus BAF & BPA. Ktayn must be present to play Windbird's Refuge.

What?

So, for the event, we have two options.

The first and preferable option is to use Brad's NLH prison liner: [NLH]-Windbird's.Refuge. The Windbird's Refuge could diguise itself as a legitimate prisoner transfer vessel, and pick up Gaian prisoners, including the crew members, for transfer at BPA Newgate. The liner would then proceed, with BAF & BPA escort around the southwestern part of the system toward the New London Jumpgate. The convoy's route will pass by the Newcastle jumphole, on the other side of which, the Gaian forces will be waiting. When the Windbird's Refuge is 4k from the hole, the Gaian captain will give the signal for the Gaian forces to pass through the jumphole. At this time, there should be an RP battle for control of the Windbird, as there would certainly be Bretonian Police on board with the prisoners.
The Gaians forces will attack the Bretonian escorts as a distraction. Once the Gaians have full control of the Windbird, it will flee to Newcastle. Once the Windbird's Refuge is safely away (reaches Skye Base), the Gaians will withdraw as mysteriously as they appeared.

The second option is to have a BPA Armored Transport as part of the convoy. In this plot, the Gaians will raid in the same location. During the confusion, the Windbird's Refuge will attack the armored transport, and forcefully moor with it. After the prisoners have been rescued, the Windbird will escape through the Newcastle Jumphole. The Gaian forces will prevent he Bretonian forces' pursuit. Again, once the Windbird's Refuge escapes (reaches Skye Base), the Gaians will withdraw.

Note that some of the forces on the Gaian side should be armed with cruise disruptors to prevent pursuit. The Gaians will attack Bretonian units carrying cruise disruptors first, in order to allow the Windbird's Refuge to escape.

Why?

Why not? The thee armed forces played the arrest so well that not having a follow-up event would dishonour their performance! Also, since NLH stopped attending the Leeds battles, we have been starving for events.
