I got one interesting question - Luis - 01-06-2010

How can I texture on Milkshape? It is giving me this "stretched" texture across the model.

Example:

How can I wrap it to the entire model or the whole seleted model? (This is the only thing that is stopping on tryig to make submissions - TEXTURING)

Im a super noob at modeling, but Ive found when you want to make the texture look less stretched and make things fit where you want. Go into the 'texture co-ordinate editor' or Ctrl+T in milkshape (I THINK!)
Then, on the multi select box thingy, select the object that you have selected. It must be selected I think. Then, scale, move, and whatever to make it look nice.

Scaling will improve it the most.

I know how to do that. But, it is only giving good textuing on 2 sides of the model. Then the Top, bottom, bak, front is stretched.

You need to map each face if you want the image to be replicated on each side. I'd suggest you find a better application than Milkshape to work with.

I seriously need too. I was thinking on making each face as an object, but i was like - hell no!

Is 3ds MAX or Gmax better on texturing?

3ds Max is way, way, way better for texturing, and overall everything than Milkshape.

Its a comparison of amateur and professional pieces of software.
