next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Jinx - 01-11-2010 edit: updated with a skinned version: ![]() hitpoints: 315.000 ( like the siege cruiser ) agility: like the BHG destroyer size: same size like the current LABC weaponry: - 10 lvl9 turrets - 2 siege cruiser forward cannons powerplant: 3.600.000 ( BC powerplant ) a real hunter - while it still features no thruster - it can unleas a twin siege cruiser blast for 1.4 million energy doing 180k x2 ( 360.000 ) damage. - and it can fire twice quickly - only... it takes ages to replenish the energy afterwards... not to mention - there s not much room for other weapons then. upon testing ... i attacked a NPC liberty dreadnought patrol and ... well... i immedietly got blown to pieces trying to line it up.... <--- overconfidence in a powerful weapon can be fatal. its a fun ship right now edit: btw. - i scaled it so that the pilot on the bridge matches the size of a fighter. - turns out the ship is like 5% smaller than the current LABC then. next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Sprolf - 01-11-2010 This is actually really cool. It looks exactly like I'd think Libertonian ships would look in the future. (Although maybe more than a century, plenty of ships we currently fly are older than that. Technology doesn't move incredibly fast.) The bridge is my favourite part, it's bootyfull. next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Jansen - 01-11-2010 Great design, but I would say it is too advanced for the Navy (There is a missing link between the current one and this...) But maybe use it as a Spyglass replacement? next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Luis - 01-11-2010 I love the bridge details - NICE JOB Jinx!! next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Akura - 01-11-2010 It's a sure nice thing to replace the current, ugly old thing. next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Seth Karlo - 01-11-2010 Woah, that is NICE. I wish we could replace it with the current one, but I think you're right Jinx, it's too advanced looking for Freelancer:( next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - schlurbi - 01-11-2010 Well...we could actually use it. Maybe an unfinished one of those at Juneau. It is a great Model. Actually a Shame if it wouldnt be use. Also it is a great Idea to create advanced Ships, like a new Version of the Templar, Guardian or Dragon. But I see a lot of people moaning about "This doesnt look like Freelancer" next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - Boss - 01-11-2010 Make it looks older if possible, replace Spyglass? Love it. next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - kuth - 01-11-2010 Be ashamed not to use such a amazing model. I love how people say 'doesn't look freelancerish.' Can we define what freelancerish is? Really? This does indeed look advanced, but who is to say it cannot be RP'd as having been a classified project in the works for awhile now? next generation assault cruiser/destroyer - gafwmn - 01-11-2010 I like it. Or,it has the possibility of being the "LSF Recon / Research" platform......joint Navy/LSF venture for design......just an idea. |
