Role Play Inquiry Regarding Weapons - octavius - 07-08-2007
Ok, I intend on making a BHG Character that uses the Arrow light fighter (Interceptor) And it can only carry 2 class 9 weapons, the weapons I want to use are the Zoner Fury 5's.
Now my question regarding their RP-ability on a BHG Character lies in the fact that they are only sold in Omicron 74, the Zoner Guard system.
Now my question is, with a decent, valid role play reason, (and written publicly displayed backstory if neccessary) would I be permitted to use these weapons?
Please let me know and contain a reason as to why you say what you say in your post.

Replied in a PM, forgot to mention they actually are sold in the other Zoner system in the Omegas. That one
is currently not under anyone's control. So docking there should not be a problem.

Ok well I have another inquiry regarding role play and weapons.. This time it is regarding the corsair Salamanca Mk II's.
I originally ruled use of this weapon out COMPLETELY due to RP, but however have come across a pair by means of loot. Not from an NPC fighter a player gunboat. Now I understand the RP behind "I got mah gunz from the nmy when I killed them!" is lame, but would it be globally accepted if this is actually what happened?
The player I looted these weapons from was Tortured_Soul.
OH! Thought I would clarify, I looted the weapon on my sso tagged gunboat, and it would go to my sso tagged BHG fighter.

I am sure it would be acceptable if you really did loot them off an enemy or you found them in a wreck. I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Grrr, publish my humiliation for me why don't you!!!1! Grrrrr (don't worry, just kidding) I in turn picked them up from NPC slaughtering spoils, but alas, being unmountable they were to be sold to the Crete merchant for extra money.

With ya there. If you can loot them, its ok. If you can't dock and buy them, you can't have them. That goes
for the finished character, whether you can get them before hand while setting up.
Corsairs don't use Outcast weps, and so on ... Think about allies and enemies. Need I say more ?
