But I must say, the retail of BF2 special forces and both the packs have made me happier than the bill. To my surprise, every map I have played in so far, every server, I found myself to be part of a squad with a good leader, tactics, balance, and, oddly enough, no snipers using a bolt action rifle.
If there is a sniper in the squad, it is using a SVD or the such, running around with us and acting as a spotter.
I myself stick to the medic and support kits for now, want to get the first few unlocks.
Bought the thing on steam, works fine, am considering installing PR mod.
Buy it if you see it, old game, more or less, but much fun to be had.

really cool game but only if played correctly. The hierarchy has to be obeyed and commands given properly. Otherwise its just a remake of quake. jumping around and shooting at everything....

Almost always why I take to the air, either in a chopper or a jet; there's nothing as satisfying as out-maneuvering someone in a dogfight and finishing him/her off with the nose cannon.

Already played BF2, althoug I got bored by the total lack of strategies in most servers.
For now I play COD MW2 with my friends.
Althoug if a I would be invited to play with a bunch of people, of course I would play.

The servers we were on with you weren't the best, but there are a few decent servers out there, just avoid the ones where everyone has a prefix for their country of origin, usually means hacks ahoy.
