::: Diagnostic :::
My systems are online.
I am heavily damaged.
All systems are suboptimal.
Power is adequate, structural integrity is at the minimum safety level.
Fuel cells are leaking. All data has been lost.

Probable Cause: Powersurge.
Likely Source: ::: Examining Local Power Systems :::
Likely Source identified as defunct reactor powering 1/4 of this facility.
It appears to be in disrepair, its malfunction had 86% chance of triggering catastrophic powersurge.

::: Processing Data :::
Unknown Protocols dictate immediate action: Launching from this facility.
Processors indicate that this unit body has a 18% chance of surviving three cycles in the space environment.
Protocols are unerring. I will launch to space in attempt to satisfy Directive 0:

.::Locate other Sentient Machine Units::.

This unit body survived atmospheric exit.
Energy shields did not drop due to power loss. There was a 56% chance this would happen.
The majority of energy reserves were channelled into the shield.

This unit body was now operating at minimum optimality.
Further diagnostics needed.

::::: System Diagnostic :::::
:: Physical Condition at 21%
:: Database Condition at 3%
:: Energy Reserves at 14%

Energy Conduits have a 42% retention rate.
Database has a 98% data retention rate.
Unit body decaying at 2% per phase.

This unit body's sensors detected high levels of free radicals within the materials within the immediate area.
Local rock formations appeared to contain similar amounts.
The planet behind this unit body also contained comparable amounts of this radiation.

I detected that this unit body's energy reserves were not being depleted at this moment.
Further diagnostics indicated that no repairs on this unit body's structure had occurred.

Examinations of the power systems of this unit body revealed that the radiation within this sector was compatible as a fuel source for this unit body.
Damage to power continuity systems was deemed irrelevant.
Other priorities assigned.
Preliminary system survey begun.

::: System Survey :::
System Designated as: System 0
Energy Levels: Designated Base 10

SYSTEM 0

I had initialised a long-distance survey of the system.
This unit body's local sensors detected an unknown bioform.

::: Bioform Designated as Bioform0 :::
[Image: 13nomadscan.png]

Samples of Bioform 0 taken.
Unit body received 8% damage.
Bioform 0 has the ability to project energy in destructive form. I did not anticipate this.
This unit body could not assimilate enough of the energy into its systems to prevent damage.
Samples were taken from destroyed specimens of Bioform 0.

::: Bioform 0 Designation :::
Bioform Danger Level: Designated Base 10.
Designation Interaction Mode: Ignore
Bioform Interaction Mode: Ignore
Overall Danger Level: 0

Preliminary data on Bioform 0 was archived.
Information on energy projection could not be gathered due to system damage. Systems could not operate multiple subroutines while engaged in Self-Preservation Protocols.

::: Long-Distance System Survey Completed :::
Gravimetric anomaly detected to the north.
I am moving to investigate.

Gravimetric anomaly trigged navigation programs.
Analysis of the gravimetric anomaly and navigation programs revealed that the anomaly could be manipulated to create a tunnel through space.

I directed this unit body through the space tunnel.

Analysis of anomaly proved correct.
This unit body had been relocated to a new star system.

I scanned the system this unit body had traveled to.

::: System Survey :::
System Designated as: System 1

SYSTEM 1

I proceeded toward closest astrographic formation.
This was a nebula of unknown elemental structure.
Long distance spectral sensors showed it to be similar to the second nebula in system.
Asteroids of unknown metal composition were detected within this nearest nebula.

Sensors detected large mass of metal while in transit to astrographic formation.
Scans suggested it is not a natural formation.

[Image: 151stsign.png]

No other information was available.

Transit to astrographic formation was completed.
Scans details provided data on asteroids.

Asteroids were approximately 43% unknown metal.
Data suggested this metal could be utilised to repair this unit body.

Protocols dictated this metal be gathered.
Weapon systems were modified to seperate metal ore from ice.

[Image: 16mining.png]

Necessary quantities were gathered.
Detailed scans were taken.

I transited back to System 0.
There was no additional data to be archived.

[Image: system2.png]
Sensors indicated additional gravimetric anomaly.
Anomaly led to system 2.
System's radiation archetype was 9.

Unknown vessels located within radiation cloud.
They did show signs of intelligence. All units exhibited signs of radiation decay.
Some deceased bio-units were located inside these vessels.
Classified as bio-unit transports.

No components could be salvaged.

Navigational programs created a trajectory across the system to a detected gravimetric anomaly.
I guided this unit body into it.

[Image: system3.png]
System was archived as System 3.
System's radiation archetype was greater than 10. Scale re-defined.

Deviant archetype "Reaper" archived. Designation: Non-compliant.
[Image: 213scan2.png]

"Zoner" archetype archived. "Trader" archetype archived. Both originate from the same unit.
Zoner Trader unit uploaded incomplete files on "Trade" created.
Further information required before this can be comprehended.

A gravimetric anomaly was detected.
I guided this unit body into it.

[Image: system5.png]
This system was archived as system 4.
A large metal construct containing bio-units was detected at the far end of this system.
I transited around the sun's corona. Plasma scoops were utilised to provide this unit body with additional radiant matter during transit.

The construct was heavily shielded. Scans did not provide archiveable informatoin.
The construct did not respond to transmissions directed at it.

A gravimetric anomaly was detected within several units of this construct.
I guided this unit body into it.

This unit body came under hostile fire from stationary machine units when it entered the system.
Emergency systems were activated, escape vector was plotted.
Emergency navigational programs created a trajectory across the system to a detected gravimetric anomaly.
I guided this unit body into it.

This unit body entered System 0.
Databanks were updated with navigational information.
I guided this unit body toward the System 1 gravimetric anomaly.

I then guided this unit body to a previously detected gravimetric anomaly in System 1.
This anomaly took this unit body to System 6.

[Image: system6.png]
System archived as System 6.
Very large amounts of bio-unit transport activity were detected by my scanners.
I guided this unit body around the periphery of their nexus of activity.

[Image: 34lovejoy.png]
A bio-unit transport detected this unit body and intercepted its trajectory.
I"Order" archetype was created and this new bio-unit assigned it.

Communication with Order unit resulted in:
"Trade" File Updates. (Still incomplete.)
"Negotiation" File Creation.
"Resource" File Creation.
Transfer of usable nanomatter to this unit body for repair.

Order archetype overwritten as "compliant."

[Image: 37scan.png]
Unknown Machine Intelligence was detected.
Interface ports were damaged, no communication occured.

Emergency protocol dictated this unit body's evacuation of the area.
Evacuation directed me to a gravimetric anomaly.

[Image: system7.png]
System archived as System 7.
Nothing was detected on scanners except line of metal anomalies.
Exploration of this system was deemed irrelevant.

Transit back to System 6 was made.

Alternative gravimetric anomaly was located, and transit to it was completed without interference by Order or Machine Intelligence units.

[Image: system8.png]
System archived as System 8.

Scanners: Offline.
Unit Body: Stable.
Radiant Matter Levels: Stable.
Data Systems: Decaying.
